At the start of a game guy playing imperial guard had 2 squadrons of russ (6 Tanks)with variants (9 heavy weapons team ) etc, looks at my ork horde and goes , hey man this isnt gonna be fair , youve got armoured transports( 3 trucks) I thought wtf, anyway i won the game .Just! .

Some fa/tg/uy was playin a game of 2nd edition at our LGS and he had the old Rogue Trader rule book with the Crimson Fists on it. This is the following conversation:

Me: Playing Second Edition?
Guy: Yep. Nostalgia, man.
Me: You know they beased a model on that guy (points to the rulebook)?
Guy: No they didn't.
(Series of yes's and no's)
Me: Yes they did. Its in the White Dwarf in the back.
Guy: No they didn't. They based it off of another artwork like this, but angled slightly to the left.

I was so closed to ripping his book in half to prove my point. Does anyone know people this hard-headed?

I was told paladins were far too expensive to justify use. I then stomped his Death company unit which all had power fists, thunder hammers, and jump packs.

TBH, as someone who isn't a Marine player, isn't really familiar with the space marines codex, and is only passingly familiar with the space wolves codex, that doesn't actually know anything about Pedro Kantor - I don't get it either.

He was playing crimson fists.

I've never had a marine codex, never played marines, hell - never played an imperial force.

I started with DE and have stuck with Xenos races since. I kill marines, I don't know what they are. (Well obviously, I know those are tactical, those are assault etc, but that's mostly ability and target priority, I really don't know that much imperial fluff.)
