Thanks very much guys, Horus was a great model to work on. Forgeworld have really been hitting it out of the park recently with their character series.

Here's something new to showcase. A whole load of Guardian Jetbikes and two Warlocks on Jetbikes to lead them.

They're all made from a couple of different third party kits, GW parts and greenstuff work.

I was really happy with how they came together and the client loved them. In fact I actually converted up a Farseer aswell for my own use:

Thought it will probably be a while before I get a chance to get some paint on him.

@Mars2024: It's not just from one kit. There are two different third party jetbike kits out there and we took they best parts from each, mixed with some GW parts and greenstuff work to come up with what you see above.

I've just finished off this Moritat as part of a new Heresy era Alpha Legion army:

It took a lot of trial and error to work out how to do the armour but I think it's come out quite well. Let me know what you think.

It definitely work out well! I like the subtle green hue on the highlights and the black of the cloak and hood bring a nice contrast to this mini.

Is the armour only painted with metallics and washes or is it more than that?

It started off as a basecoat of Leadbelcher, zenithal highlighted with Ironbreaker. Then it was built up using various thin layers of Ironbreaker mixed with Lothern blue, Tamiya Clear Blue, Tamiya Clear Green and Guilliman Blue. There were also some Runefang Steel edge highlights thrown in the middle of it.

Most of it was just trial and error but it should be much easier for the rest of the army.

Potentially up to 2000pts thought that's not quite as much as you'd think it is. Everything seems to be quite expensive in 30k.

Not sure of the thick white hightlights. Like it looks like it was to add a more starker edge on surfaces hitting the light more or something but then there's other edges that would fit with that as well but just don't have that white edge. Other than that they look pretty good.

It's not highlighting. The client just wanted white lines in those areas as part of the color scheme.

omg, im not the only purple tau player!

The light blue works great with purple, i went with a mild green instead.
