Very clever Proiteus. They look great! Love the little drones too.

Those guys are just brilliant. I love how you've managed to execute so many of these crazy wacky ideas. Looking forward to seeing way else is up your sleeve

They are so adorably-killy!

May we see multiple angles of the one with the ork, please?

Fantastic, as usual, Proiteus. I'm always amazed by how vivid the colors and lines are on your minis in the photos, especially in the close-ups. Do you have a tutorial on how you do this, or could you point me in the right direction?

Sadly the other angles look awkward in regards to the drop kick pose.

Oops.. I probably should have specified that I meant taking the photos themselves. (Your formula for red would be nice, too, if that's not too much to ask).

DA MEKS NEED YA FEEDBACK!
With 16 days to go before my grots head out for the War In The North Tournament I have 4 tanks left to do, one of which is my Hellhound, but rather than my original tank that I posted earlier I'm considering a modification kit for my Lobba Lorry (Wyvern). The benefit of this is it's free up a space in the army case for something completely different like an artillery gun, buggies etc.
Here is the work in progress; going to bridge the cap between the fuel platform and truck with some armour plating, the truck will have it's armour plow from before. I'll also be adding one or two rivets strips to the drums.

Well what'cya think? Any suggesitons for improvements? Do you think it can represent a Hellhound?

Looking good the only thing I would do is make the flamer head bigger/longer. The hell hound one is fairly long and the FW is even longer.
Basically make then flamer look like the main gun, it looks a little like a support weapon .
Hope that helps?

Looks awesome, but I would tend to agree, the flamer needs to be bigger.

In addition to an extended barrel, it could use a couple of armor plates along the sides. It looks pretty vulnerable, as of now.

Larger barrel, and tubes going from the tanks on the back into the flamer.

I agree a bigger turret would be better but sadly there is no time to start from scratch.

2ND TO LAST WAVE; DA BATTLE TANKZ
Got the 2 Battle Tanks completed, 1 of which will serve as my Kommand Tank identified by the massive skull on the front. I went with the boxy turret because it just looks a lot more orky... I mean something a greenskin would like, that and the spiked tracks make it very intimidating.

YOU KAN SUPPORT DA GROT REVOLUSHUN!
On a side note I've uploaded a lot of images to my Dakka Dakka Grot Rebel gallery but the majority of them don't have any votes, I'd appreciate it if you could take the time to vote on some of your favourite units in this army: http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-10465-31947_The%20Grot%20Rebelz.html

ROKS FROM ABOVE!
The best thing about the battle tanks is that they can be used for other vehicles as well such as a Deathstrike Missile Launcher. When coming up with ideas I refused to have a giant missile, as I hate the idea that a general would put a weapon of such high yield on the front line. So I came up with this much better idea inspired by the Ork Audio Drama the Klaw Of Mork, to represent my Deathstrike Missile Launcher I will have a large tractor beam dragging down a asteroid/ship from orbit to drop on the enemy. Which makes a lot more sense as the weapon would need to not move to keep hold of it's ammo and any damage would make it lose it's the grip on whatever it's pulling down.

Going to play a few games to see if I like using the weapon and if I do I'll get it fully converted and painted.

That turned out really well Proiteus. I was a bit skeptical at first... but I really like it.

DA LAST WAVE OF GROT REBEL STUF!
Well here it is the last wave of Grot Rebel units, now I can take a nice relaxing break from the hobby and then return for a new project. First off the new Hellhound, I'll likely use it in larger games or when I need to remove the Wyvern to free up my Heavy Support slots for something else. Turrets a bit small but this was rush job as I needed it for the upcoming tournament this weekend.

I loved the small tanks I converted from spare bits in my previous version of this army to use as Hydras, however I struggled to find a use for them in this new army as the armoured sentinel idea didn't work out. But I finally did find a suitable use for the model in the form of a proxy for a Manticore implacement. (Manticore turret: AV10 2 Hull Points Immobile). Like before the idea is this tank calls down Grot Bomb Strikes with the D3 representing how many bombs make it to the target. I needed to add some plates round the tracks to make it clear it is an immobile vehicle.

Might make an alternative top with my shield generator for a possible Shield array proxy?

And that's it but before I go I will aim to get a good quality full army photograph to post on the log.

Been a great ride Proiteus... those last additions are fantastic. The skorcha trukk especially tugs at my heart strings. Nicely done.

I love it all! Every time I pass by this blog I can't help but re-scroll through it all!

Please post a pic of everything completed so far (including buildings)!!

Also some ideas
-Grot Jockies: Grots riding squigs (Probs FW squigs or warhammer ones)
-mini bombers (if not done yet)
-Ork riders (Grots ontop of nobs like mounts)
-something similar to an imperial knight (smaller scale of course but resembles a grot moreso than an ork)
-inquisition grots

Keep up the amazing work!!

FULL ARMY SHOTZ TEAZA!
Sadly I won't have the full army shots till next week, but here are some group shots from the recent tournament.

COMIN SOON!
I'll be taking a break from the Grots while I work on my new army, which I'll reveal later this week. But once they're done I'll be coming back to grots to work on the following units...

Grot Rebel Buggies
Never got round to painting the buggies this time but they'll be on the top of the list next time.

Ardgrotz
Carapace Veterans represented by bulky armoured grots like this chap below.

The Great Unclean Squig
One deamonic, big, angry and very poisonous squig plus a few little swarms to accompany him. These units maybe even made while I work on the other project.

Remade Deff Diggaz
While looking through the Imperial Armour book this morning I came across the Hades Drill rules, 100pts for a deep striking Melta Drill and a veteran squad to follow the turn after, yes please! So I'll be recreating the Deff Diggas using mechanicus heads and night goblin parts to create sort of Deff Korp Grotz.
The question is how to convert a suitable proxy for the Hades Drill or should I simply loot the forgeworld model as it is a cool looking model?

Armoured Sentinels
Will be creating a 2nd Warbot and arming both of them with Plasma Cannons.

Would like to start building these units asap but I need a break from my little greenskins.
