A split of the Frozen and Forgotten Box set for Warmachine pre-ordered last week with me keeping the Nyss half.
It arrived today by mail.

I won it at a tournament on the weekend, leaving me with 2 sets of Nyss (all characters and cannot be doubled up in games) and the orgoth half (which I do not play).

Managed to snag a Lances of the Crimson Keep box set. That's put a serious dent in my Black Friday funds, but it was worth it for the cheap dragon. I can always flog the blood knights and probably the bats to recoup some funds though.

Based on some strong dakkadakka recommendations from people I know have similar tastes to me, I finally picked up Deadzone. I'd been put off by the grid approach but was convinced it's not a problem at all. I have an extra box of mantic ruins that I'll use to beef up the terrain that comes in the box.

At the same time I ordered 3 boxes of Matsudan infantry. I've been in the market for some chonky reptillian aliens and I didn't realise these guys were becoming their own fleshed out faction for both Firefight and Deadzone so they have a bunch more options than just one squad. Planning on building a small force, really like the look of these guys.
