Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

The whole lot looks a bit "meh" to me.

The heads don't look all that nice (strange eyebrows and 80's hair anyone?) and the armour looks like it is just some kind of tank top rather than actual armour. Plus, lots of wobbly lines between "plates" (and indeed everything else).

The greatcoat torso looks like it could be OK though.

be interesting to see some side shots so we can see just how well endowed these are (not in a rude way - just interested to see if they have made them OTT or not).

I think they look alright, personally. They're certainly better than some other attempts I've seen.

Not perfect, but definitely a good strong step in the right direction, and probably the best currently available female conversion kits on the market, yes?

They will all still have man hands.

Very nice. I wonder how they'd work with Cadian legs, though. I still think they'd less fairly manish, though, its true that ACU's hid curves pretty well when I was in the Army...

Also, how many unoccupied helmets come in the Cadian squad? I thought it was just one or two, which certainly isn't enough for 4 heads meant for helmets.

That all said, I like these a great deal.

Great idea, but the painted pics look kind of lackluster. I bet that they look pretty sharp with some smoother painting, though.

As to man hands, paint thelm like gloves. You can even file/fill the back of the hand and notch the fingers if you want them to look segmented.

For pants, with loose fitting cammies at this scale, I would say it's fine. Indeed, at this scale the default Cadian torsos are fine- most field armor isn't fitted to breasts or pectoralis- it is a smooth surface to deflect.

The heads and torsos look fine to me. The eye brows seem exagerated.

These are certainly better than the EPIC BOOBAGE female space marine green-stuff sculpts that I've seen floating around.

To be fair, Absolutionis, have you ever seen a male IG figure with a grin on his face?

They ALL look pissed off.

The heads look strange with the eyebrows like that, but it might just be painting. The chest plates look weird, but copying the Cadian chest plate direct would get one in a world of hurt. I think the kit would also have been better with its own legs and arms, but using the Command Squad parts should be fine, as they are a little smaller.

The open jacket seems out of place, but Shadowforge sculpt their stuff with one hand down their pants, so it is expected.

Im intrigued, not a lot more at the moment. I suppose though, what with maxmini female heads, and hit_the_spot's new female guard heads you could get rid of the head problem if you so chose.

she's more of a catachan style trooper than a cadian, though. i think the sculpts are nice and definitely fill a niche that gamers want yet hasn't been officially provided for. those chicago club sculpts of female cadians go very quickly and for alot on ebay and trading sites so there's definitely a market. if i hadn't finished my cadians (except for a few amputations to get them 5th ed codex legal) back in 3rd and forgotten what paints i used on my custom regiment in the 5 years i stopped playing, i'd add a few. :(

Have you ever read any 40K fiction? Man, the future sucks, and it sucks 2x if you're in the imperial guard. I can totally understand why they all always look like that.
