Dude that is one sweet looking rhino. How did you do the chaos stars on the back and sides? Are they painted or modelled on?

Its great to see a Nurgle tank with such great detail. A lot of people tend to just throw their paint on it (hay, thats ok too!!). Wow, nice. The chocolate brown and very light brown go so well together too.

Agreed - the colors and weathering are top notch and well executed.

My only one little modification Id recommend is to include the classic nurgle sign - 3 pustules in a triangle - somewhere on there if it is Nurgle affiliated.

Thanks, but like I said to Ooiegoie, my chapter is not nurgle based, they are just scavengers, real scavengers, they collect everythin on the battlefield that they can recycle.

Am digging it - wish I had a Rhino that looked that sweet! I missed the whole not-nurgle-based thing.


Ill pay more attention to the whole thread and not just the pretty pictures next time...

Good job there. Love the weathering done, especially the crack on the side door.

Hmm. I like it overall, but the trompe l'oeil doesn't seem as convincing. I think it may be the thickness of the lines used to emphasize the chipping. If those were thinner, perhaps.

No I used several layers of brown/black washes on a light grey basecoat.

very nice painting and weathering on both the infantry and vehicles. i really like the predator chosen... still 40k through-and-through but inspired by another scifi classic.
