Well, it was tough and I made cuts you aren't going to like too much, but here's 2k:
L: Sorcerer Lord -
MoT, talisman of preservation, third eye = 325
H: Exalted Hero -
MoT,
BSB, talisman of endurance, shield = 180
C: 18 Warriors -
MoT, full command, halberds, shields = 356
C: 19 Warriors -
MoT, full command, shields = 354
C: 5 Warhounds = 30
C: 5 Warhounds = 30
S: 6 Trolls = 270
S: 5 Knights -
MoT, standard, musician = 250
R: Hellcannon = 205
--------
2000
Sorcerer Lord is a level 3, but casts @ +4 with
MoT anyway, and with the third eye has access to 3-7 spells every round. 3 rolls clearly doesn't guarantee gateway, but if you run the numbers on doubles and such I think it's still pretty decent. And those games where you don't roll gateway you get to use your brain and mess with other spells
BSB is a fairly boring build, but gets right to the point: 3/4+ save
ftw. He is also choppy by nature.
Halberd warriors you're going to want to run 6-wide in most all cases, so 18 just gets them there faster. The shield dudes are still 19, to accept at least the level 3 and turtle up.
Puppies are still there, though I was itching to axe one unit to get an easy 30 points. Two units is nice tactically though and will help you out.
Trolls I kept at full strength for being scary bastards.
Knights sadly lost their frenzy, and a lot of their nastiness. I'd say it might be worth dropping 5 warhounds and swapping the
BSB's talisman of endurance out for the collar of khorne to buy them back the angry banner, but it depends I guess on how you want to use them. Or how many points you want to give away when they die
Heckcannon is still in.
So that's what I got, hope it helps. Makes for a decently brutal list, with
IMO an interesting magic phase between only 3 levels and third eye making you choose your options in many cases.
