Okay here is the problem that I don't know which forum should it belong to...

My friend just got a Land Speeder Storm but he wanted to incorporate it into his CSM list. Firstly is it okay for him to use SM codex as basis to use it in CSM army, and secondly if he does how should the LSS be converted to be more chaotic taste?

If he's playing in friendly games I imagine most opponents would be happy to let him use it. In any other situation, mixing codices is rarely allowed.

As for chaosification, you can't go wrong with spikes.

So long as he uses only the SM codex to represent his CSM's, it would be fine.

And a few spikes, loose plates, chaos signs, general grubbyness, etc should make it look a bit more chaos.

What's he going to have riding in it? CSM Scouts? Cultists? Traitor Guard? Actual Marines can't ride in it.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I've actually been thinking about using regular land speeders (not storms) in my CSM lists, since our FA choices are basically complete

Some Demonic possession would be cool, and he will have to make some chaos scouts (and get permission for them too).

I dont think its a problem. Infact if you wanted you could own both codices, then have your SM list and CSM list...I think that would be pretty awesome to have 2 army lists from one army. I dont understand why CSM cant use Land Speeders anyway...they definately lack any sort of FA in their list

In regards to the rules, no he can't use it unless you're playing apocalypse games. But if you're cool with it you might show him some lenience.

I think there are a lot of cool things you could do with a chaos landspeeder depending on what deity the army is following. Boobs and leather wrapping for slaanesh, pus and blisters for nurgle, a blood tank for khorne and giant featherd wings for txeentch. Go crazy.

Not sure on the Boobspeeder, but otherwise yeah, go nuts!
