Hi guys, I'm still very much a novice with the hobby so am wondering anybodys advice, opinions or comments on whatelse i may be able to do to improve on with my converted AoBR Ork warboss.
As stated this is my 1st real conversion work so dont think i have the skills to be TOO ambitious but maybe some ideas about the power claw or a good banner? (I will be adding my clan icon to it at somepoint though)
I was also thinking to have a little of the liquid running down the pipe or the side of the tank froma few bullet holes but am not sure how to do this. Maybe dried pva glue and gloss?

The concept behind him is the tank/barrel on his back is it's filled with a very flammable green liquid which when lit, creates a bright green flame, and because of this he has been named him 'Gitsnotta'.

When i finally get round to painting him i will be working with a mainly black and purple, with a little red, colour scheme, to go along with the rest of my Ork clan 'The Crooked Footz'.

Oh, it's probably obvious but the tac is just there to hold everything in place and so will be removed when i attach everything together perminantly.

Cheers

Wow, love the conversion. Maybe you could make his liquid tank look more Orky tho, maybe add some symbols or just cover it in jagged bits of biulding and stuff.

Very nice conversion.

Nice work. What about tilting the barrel so it doesn't sit evenly on his back, and then tapping the side of the barrel, rather than the bottom. Personally I have always though of Ork stuff as being quite hastily constructed.

Keep converting.

That head is just too small.

Not sure if these are larger:

Of course, you could take the normal head and sculpt over it, too. Though that is not for beginners.

Tube seems a bit thick, perhaps try something else? Not keen on having the banner out of the barrel, either. I think it would possibly be better coming off the back.

Agree with above. Bullet holes are easy - drill the holes, then take your hobby knife to the edges and cut out 3 or 4 thin triangles. Not sure that you would need more than just paint to show the leak though...
