How much have Dakkites actually spent OR about to spend on Games Workshop products?

Just spent around 60 bucks for some FFG stuff (No idea if this counts) and around 100 for a Battlewagon and some Kans.

My buying is a bit on the abnormal side. I'm over the 100,000 dollar mark this year.

I'd guess about 1k personally, between new models, FW, Black Library, bitz, and painting supplies.

Spent over half of next years personal budget yesterday on a really spiffy Alpha Legion army.

I've dropped about $400... but thats all in the last month and a half. MOst of that was on Dakka trades though.

This year I think I bought new,
2 battle forces of Cadians, valkarie, Abor & swapped the orks for a mk1 demolisher, space marine battle force, 2 razorbacks
Far too many ebay wins mostly Mordians, tanks and special characters maybe £200+ worth.

My brother got me a Chimera (still owes me a second)
for my birthday,

My very good lady friend bought me a executioner LR for my birthday and some kind of super heavy IG for Christmas.

I may or may not have an addiction.

Oh, I'd say somewhere around 500$

My wishlist is my 1000 point Chaos Army for the Adepticon Team Tourney.

I'm in the middle category, too- built up a new WoC army of trolls and ogres, which took most of it. Then sold my old army and directed all of the funds into starting Hordes!

Somewhere around $400-$500 finishing my Brets and starting a Night Goblin horde with a few Orks thrown in. Most everything was ebay with only around $150 or so spent on new stuff. I also bought a number of BL novels, if that counts.

More than I should have lol

$80 on the new Fantasy Rulebook. Thats it.

Otherwise, it was all trades. No actual cash changing hands.

Pretty low for me this year, I spent: $90 on a Baneblade, $20 on the Empire Archers (converted to Delaques), and about $30 on various bitz for a total of around $140

Finished painting...none of those.

In the "old days" when GW had a real bitz service, I would regularly spend $120 on bitz or so several times a year on various projects, and a like amount on the basic troops or what ever I was converting. Now? Much less interested since I can not get what I want.

Spending this year must be a near record low, I got the BA and Nid codexes, some plasma guns and a games day ticket from GW. I got some Tallarns from Ebay, and some baneblade tracks for my Leviathan. That's about it.

I believe Christmas is a time for peace and love for all mankind, and anyone who isn't with it is going straight to the fires of hell!

This year I spent about $1200 on Privateer Press stuff (including Monsterpocalypse singles and promos off eBay) and about $600 on 40k. Mostly bitz orders and some 3rd party stuff like Chapterhouse and Heresy. I think I only got about 7 complete kits.

500-1000 easily. Im scared to actually add it up and find out, so I will make an educated guess

I've spent almost nothing on GW this year, I've been been making old models from the collection and buying the odd thing on eBay. My wife spent £20 on me for christmas and I bought Knight Commander Pask a few months back. That could be it for full price purchases this year.

About $1400 on my IG, $400+ finishing off my orks, $400 on my IA8 drop list (so far) plus modelling supplies, codexes, etc.

Much much more then I could paint...

GW spending - 2010 has been much reduced for me as I've not been getting in any games and have concentrated on building my backlog. I spent more than "category 1" but less than "category 2" on GW models, and half of that was on terrain pieces. (Ruins of Osgiliath and Dreadstone Blight).

On the other hand 2010 was a big year for PP spending as I was expanding the bones of my Cyngar army and updating my Menoth/Everblight for MKII to the tune of high "category 3". I'll probably finish updating my Khador/Mercs/Cryx next year.

There is a bit of a flaw in the poll, as you cannot vote $0, or $100-$200, or $400-$500.

As for me, I'm making a rough guess, but I'm going to say between $200-$400. I'm approximating the exchange rate, but it should be about right.

I voted the highest amount.

Can't be 100% sure though. Suffice to day Jan-Sept it was all on staff discount, and I didn't really let up afterwards!

Incidentally Luna, the options of your poll have significant gaps between the values e.g. $100 - $200

I haven't spent too much.
However, on Christmas Day (after I add up all the money I get, it's all I ask for) I am buying a full SW army at once, as well as extra paint for all my armies.

Way too much, and keep spending! Horusy Heresy: Collected Visions keeps talking to me at work...

This year, Cadian battleforce, several Chimeras and Leman Russ kits, Kasrkin, Witch Hunters Inquisitor and retinue, Witch Hunters codex (when I took over Durham it was sat on the shelf, and despite the pdf on the site, I wanted the book!), box of SoB Seraphim (again, still sat on the shelf in Durham, huzzah!). Then decided to start a Red Scorpions battle company + other bits, so far bought a battleforce, 2 extra tac squads, 10 man assault squad.....

I'm going to stop listing it all before I realise exactly how much, my vote might have been a bit too conservative... All good though!

I havnt spent anything on GW for Xmas , trying to lessen the pain from purchases early this year.

But the skaven wave... hmm they removed the advanced order on skaven ,why?

And 40k Advanced order has Dark Angels upgrade sprue.... random or are they next?
