Hey be glad it was just a rhino, before i had the titan in hand i was toying with the idea of crushing a landraider. I wasn't sure if the rhino was going to be big enough to offset the weight of the titan.

I like the idea, but I think the crater could use some additional texture as the level of detail on it really doesn't do justice to the rest of the model. Maybe something as simple as some sand or a texture spray to make it a little less plastic?

BTW What did you use for the rigid base underneath the crater?

I agree. I am not satisfied with smooth texture of the crater as it is just vacuum formed instead of injected. I think i am going to go with some amount of the same gravel basing that i use on the rest of my eldar.

The rigid backing is 1/8" birch plywood that i had hanging around. I used grey stuff to fill in a small area of the underside of the rhino, which also contains the metal rod which runs about 2 1/2" into the leg for support, and screwed through the plywood into puddy so that the crater would not pull away over time under the weight of the model.

That Tech Marine diving out of the Rhino is the best.

Nicely done.

Nice work on the titan and everything, but man, do I love that base. I agree, though, that it could use a bit of added texture. The vacuum formed blobbiness just isn't on par with the rest of the piece.

Thanks for the feed back!!

Trying to get it done for Templecon in a couple of weeks. That and the 12 Fire Dragons, 5 Dark Reapers, and 10 Wraithguard.

I only wanted to paint one cockpit... so i glued and puddied the head. That way i have one where it looks good closed and one that opens.

Nice work! That yellow really pops. I like the base aswell, hope its been bolted firmly in place lol. The pose is cool aswell, i like how dynamic you can make these Eldar titans look as opposed to the very static looking Imperial ones.

Very nice, any chance of a pic showing the rear of the titan? trying to work out proportions.
