With the General and BSB buffing the two warrior units and the Marauders having numbers on their side, all the blocks easily make it across the board. The Knights, Hounds, Chariot all support the flanks and attack MSU. The Spawn are good for taking out scouts and comes from behind units. Two Hellcannons are just... awesome. I chose the lore of heavens because it augments Chaos Warriors very well with plenty of damage spells, the comet for taking out gunlines, Iceshard blizzard for comboing with the Hellcannons and various buffs and debuffs incase one of my blocks looks to be out combated. In my local gaming club this list is undefeated against Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Vampire Counts and Warmachine Dwarfs. This is an extended list to the one i was going to take to Cancon this year.

Habving both Halberds and Shield can be a waste of money as the Halberds will be used in Close combat only and the shield versus shooting only.
That will save you 30 points between the 2 units. Drop the hounds and you could add more Warriors or add a mark to the knights.

Every time I've fought warriors with halberds + shields, the shields (i.e. +1 save that wouldn't have been there otherwise) has saved more warriors vs magic and shooting than it cost for the shields. Also, it makes the models look a bit more complete to have a shield in one socket and a halberd in the other. YMMV (in both cases).

Looks pretty cool. But what lore are you thinking on the sorcerer lord? Shadow might be fun.
The only thing that I am not too big a fan of is the size of the warrior blocks. If I were you, I would try to boost them up to 20 men each. I don't really see much fat anywhere in this list, but maybe someone smarter, or more experienced than I with WoC, could suggest something better.
Also, I just finished making some warriors with halberds and shields and they just look to cool to pass up. Also, as noted, everyone likes to shoot at them so the extra point on armour is defiantly worth it.

I would rather see you drop the lvl 2 sorc and the chariot and add a 2nd unit of knights or another block of warriors.
I like consistancy and more blocks of guys, myself.

All of your blocks seem light. You want to make to the fight in one piece and you don't want them stedfast. I recommend finding some points to beef them out. Maybe drop a cannon or spawn.
I agree w/ shields against shooting and the lore of shadow. It's winning games. I wish lvl 2s could take it.

I'm not too keen on the Spawn, but if they work for you, great.
Lotta killing power here, but I agree, 18 in 3 ranks of 6 would be a lot nicer for your blocks of Warriors.
What lores did you have in mind?

Heavens all the way.
Shadows is best used for shooty armies. It slows down, has a sorta cannon, a blast, it reduces combat ability and toughness. But heavens just WORKS for Warriors, theres a thread ive already discussed this here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/343375.page
I dont want to take steadfast. My killrate wont wipe a unit, yes. But it will always cause a breaktest on my enemy, thats why ive spent so many points in shooting protection. If i need to take steadfast, i send marauders in to hold the enemy down. But in the games ive played, steadfast is never really an issue. Yeah, they hold for a turn, but with so many units watching my flanks, i can just grind through the units without worrying about being flanked. And usually if i do get flanked. So what? Im warriors, i can usually win combat pretty hardcore. Point for point my blocks can take out most other elite infantry. Its situational really, im a general whos good enough to pick my combats well. The only time ive lost a full block in a turn was against a VC Bloodknight Deathstar. And i got a massacre in that game.
Spawns are great for one thing, random movement. They can turn in ANY direction and possibly charge. The best flank protectors for my army against scouts (Maybe not chameleons lol).
Hounds, Spawn and that naked unit of knights save my arse so many times its not funny.
Daemons still are bitches though. Its that ward save, nothing else that gets me.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Another reason why i keep the blocks at 15 is i run them 6 wide with at least one character, so in essence you need to kill 5 of them too make me lose combat effectiveness. Not easy to do without LOTS of shooting. And even with lots of shooting i usually therefore have more combat as a whole anyways. But i do plan to make an alternate list with a 20 man HW Sheild Tzeentch unit and a 3+ ward Chosen unit. Again both are REALLY hard to kill and boast good killing power. Except for rerolls to hit, smaller base size, one intiative HW Sheild Warriors are just as killy as Blackguard, but with heaps more dmamge output. And yeah face to face they will kill some, but i should massacre most of the unit back. Combat wise except for deathstars, block to block i am only really worried about High Elves. But thats why im like, double hellcannons/debuff/debuff/debuff/livelongenough/swingback/rape
