Pretty sure she is...what's more she's got an "8th" on her too, so Necromundan 8th got a shout!

Oh wow; yeah, looks like. She’s got the 8 on the split colour roundel and the skull-spider shoulder pad.

The top half of her body (plus the helmet) are straight from Jes Goodwin's Guard sketches.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Though a bit out of place for my head canon Underhive look.

Oh just to quibble... Technically the various RT Imperial Army/Guard models are Necromunda Spiders, though they were supposed to be a universal and generic uniform.

And I guess the 'Imperial Guard deserter' from the Specialist Games days could be an Official Necromunda Spider, even if he was just a repurposed Steel Legionnaire.

So y'know, I'd give it to her. The first Official Necromundan Spider model!

Look similar to Rogue Trader and Voidmaster Nitch

Rule wise House Greim is kinda meh, meh benefit, massive drawback and the fighters are not very tough, or useful.

For those of us (me) that doesn't normally follow FW announcements through to release, how long does it take from these sort of announcements to pre orders going up?

Scotland, but nowhere near my rulebook

The Deserter:

https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Hired-Guns-Yar-Umbra-and-The-Deserter-2019

is supposed to be a former Spider, though he looks a bit more down on his luck.

And the face of the Jagerkin looks very close to Talia Jaegir from 2000ad, which is also cool.

Hm, so probably not in time for the voucher that runs out on 3rd Sept :(

Very very nice models. Could probably end up doing overtime in an Rogue Trader retinue...

Edit: The deserter is definitely an ex-spider missing most of his gear - A-Company marking on his shoulder and the splid roundel on his kneepad:

Yes! They are doing models for the Noble houses.

The Jagerkin also carries around the Jess Goodwin Guardsman helmet.

Probably not, no.

I need to remember to spend my own voucher. Perhaps on the Delaque gang expansion thing.

Cheers doc. Maybe the deserter will become my make weight for that order then!

We have rumours of 2 IG regiments coming don't we? Obviously one being DKK, the Spiders being the other would be fun (though very unlikely).

It would be awesome sauce. But GW doesn't like to cross the streams these days. If we haven't seen rules for gangers in 40k I doubt we'd see models for Necromunda IG in 40k either.

Would be nice though...

Looking at the concept art above. A small redesign the the respirator pack to on to the front, put the heads in an upgrade sprue and those now Krieg would fulfil the spiders (in a close way to the original)

Why would we see rules for gangers in 40k...?

Nothing stopping the Spyders coming out as a regiment in 40k though.

The Spiders are the original plastic Guard kit in jumpsuit fatigues with chest armor and helmets, not the more Fallout looking dude from that Jes art. I do like the idea of converting Krieg to the Goodwin Guardsman but I think they'd be a bit too slender. I'd love to see both as modern regiments.

They showed the new Dale stuff off on the 22nd and it went up for pre-order on the 6th so it might be a quick turnaround.

To be fair Judge Dredd was my first thought too. The gas mask especially looks like a certain chin.
