Hey Guys,

Instead of just doing one colour on the eagle wings of the space marine chest,

Here is an older pic of one of the space marines with this effect. The video really shows it better though

my dad does it the same way but he uses a flat colour (typically brown) instead of bronze.

Nice model though, was that banner freehand? I'm useless at stuff like that.

If all else fails, apply more lubricant!

I quite like the format you use in all your tutorials of showing the basics on paper first then showing them in practice. Reinforces what's going on and whatnot. Thanks for posting!

I agree, I use different colour scheme but I am sure this method could ad improvements. Thanks for posting mate and as a side line that was a very well presented tutorial. I shall be checking the rest out.

Great little video, I watched it twice and got a good idea for my chest Aquila which I’m starting to do on my Templar….
Quick list… Boltgun – check
Badab black – check……
what????? No chainmail ?????

I hate having a plan and trying to move forward then realized I have to run down to the store to get more paint….. today was a do nothing but paint day too !!!!
