OK, I did this back in 2007/2008, but I wanted to see who is playing what now that we have Blood Angels and Space Wolf Codex cheese/goodness. So, what chapter do you play?

I can still remember when a box of 30 Space Marines was $30.00. Now THAT'S old school! In fact, I started playing in the Rogue Trader days...yes, I am that old. Played Warhammer Fantasy for years before Rogue Trader even came out...

6,800 Pts. Ultramarines, 1,500 Pts. Deathwatch, 1,000 Pts. Black Templars, 1,000 Pts. Blood Ravens, 1,000 Pts. Emperors Children, 2,000 Pts. Word Bearers, 3,500 Pts. Eldar (Alaitoc or Biel-tan), 2,000 Pts. Tau, 2,000 Pts. Sisters of Battle, 999 Pts. of Thousand Sons, 1,000 Points Dark Eldar, 1,000 Points Adeptus Arbites, 1,000 Points Freebooters, 1,000 Points "Last Chancers", 1,000 Points Tyranids, 1,000 Points Necrons

2,500 Pts. Brotherhood, 2,000 Pts. Undead, 2,000 Pts. Sylvan Kin Elves, 2,000 Pts. Empire of Dust, 3,000 Pts. Orcs with Goblin Allies

5 Necromunda Gangs, 10 Mordheim Warbands, and 5 Frostgrave warbands

While I haven't actually played 40k in almost 2 years now, I still consider myself a "player" of White Scars, Pretty Marines, and a DIY chapter that's sort of a parody on Dark Angels. Their terrible secret is so terribly secret even I don't know it.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Dark Angels, and a DIY (the Wardens Mortalis). More of a Chaos man when it comes to the flavour of my Astartes, but I am definaetly considering Black Templars or Iron hands as an army.

Or Angry Marines.

Used to play Raven Guard. I became unhappy with my skills at black armor, and so I now play Iron Snakes.

While it is a slightly more complicated scheme, i can make it look pretty good, I think.

I play a DIY chapter that uses Imperial Fist genestock, although they're non-codex. And according to their fluff, they're renegades... and dead...

Would love to see a project log.

As for me...

<---- Fire Hawks, use the vanilla dex and run assault heavy all drop pod list with some success. Running the Fire Hawk chapter character from Baddab vol. 1 has helped a lot in my "for fun" games.

800 brethren and 2,000 other personnel were expected to reach Crows World within no more than 12 hours. They never arrived.

I would have thought that there would be more Blood Angels players out there. Seems like that's all I see in the threads anymore...Blood Angels and Space Wolves.

Glad to see all of the Successor Chapters out there. Personalized, but with a touch of Fluff. Very cool.

I am playing Knights of Blood a successor chapter to the Blood Angels who are often indifferent to the distinctions of ally and enemy. Even though they were decreed Renegade by the High Lords of Terra because of several hundred years of uncontrolled butchery, perpetrated against friends and foes alike, they still continue to fight the enemies of Mankind, arriving unannounced and usually unwanted to lend their considerable might to a conflict or war.

I have played Dark Angels and a DIY chapter (The Crimson Tears, a successor of the Blood Angels). Though now I just read fluff. With the economy there are only a hand full of Warhammer 40K players in my area.
