So I've decided to just put up the entire army as I work on it, along with any Ideas and possible fluff i have along with it. I've wanted to do an army that wasn't completely armored (grew tired of the identical SM/CSM all the time) and I ended up decided on ork due to the fact that I Bought AoBR to give the marines to my youngest brother, and that he and my fiancee hate Orks. It was just going to stop there, but then I found that fateful stompa... So here goes nothing.
what I think I've planned so far:
HQ:
Warboss- I didnt want the same BR warboss everyone else had, so ive cut him up, and in the process of the gubbin/GS fixins now. No pictures yet, as it is just a torso and legs.

Elites-
Nobz with bikes (?)- I dont care for the deffcoptas. so Im converting them into nob bikes. no pictures as of yet.

lootas- Havent started on them, and I have no idea how to make them different from other lootas. any suggestions?

Troops-
Boyz- AoBR boyz. due to the small price tag of these things I will have 40 of these guys.


Also have a box of boyz for 11 shootas.

Nobz- mix of AoBR nobz and the nobz box. not done with them, but here's what I've got so far:
Waaagh banner, going to add trophies after Ive won a few games with them.


Painboy, custom cybork arm and syringe, still needs a GS apron, and a bit of wiring. camera wont focus on him for some reason.




Shoota/skorcha



Random nob


Trukk(very much WIP)


also have some grots and a second trukk, haven't started on them yet though.

Hvy Support:
Battle wagon, not started yet.

Special-

Body is also finished, but it doesnt have anything added on it yet.

So, any ideas/suggestions?

The Stompa face makes me laugh every time.

When it filled up the whole screen on the camera, I knew it was going to be an awesome picture.

Looks promising. Nobs and big mek look good. You can convert the aobr boyz fairly easily to give them different poses, cut arms at shoulders and hands at wrists, reposition and glue. For lootas you could try and swipe some heavy weapons from other armies. I used spacemarine and Guard parts cos I had them spare.

thanks, I might have some spare SM/Cult heavies, Ill find a way to mesh them together. I just cut different nicks and edges in to the different weapons, I thought about cutting up the boyz, I got a bit lazy though, I probably will for the other 20. big mek is my favorite, The nobz are mostly just a kitbash, but the special items, like the banner and painboy came out better than I thought they would. I'll get more up soon

Pictures are a bit blurry - but looking good so far. The Waaagh! Banner doesn't look straight (the parts above and below the hand don't look like they line up correctly). Off to check out the Big Mek...

It is "straight", but there is more gs on one side, making it look to forward, I plan to fix with a design, like a chain or something. and the camera just refused to cooperate the other night...

SO, its been awhile. had hell to go through with work, and on my off time got sucked into mass effect again. but here are the rest of the nobz!

Twin choppas = big choppa? and Ive got his gun on the back, its hard to tell detail here, but wait till he's painted, on of my favorites, even if it does look a bit runty.


This one... heh, everyone has at least one model like this.. I actually have three in my csm. but when I put the bosspole/sign on his back it will be worth it.



I really, really like how this simple swap and positioning turned out. the kustom gun-arm helped a bit I suppose. it just looks of raw orky-ness



In other news, thanks to a "lucky break", the banner has been re positioned and looks like a one piece, non bent pole now. still going to add the chains though.
havent worked on the mek at all, and the Boss is rather daunting... none of my vehicles are further along.. though I now really want to make a junka. Anyway, here's to being more active soon

Love the AoBR nobz. THose minor changes in them really make them stand out. I really like the one with the gun had. I chop up my extra gunz to make bigger and better ones.
