I Recently bought a Dark Eldar Raider, and when i opened it up, i was surprised to find that it also had the frame to turn it into a Ravager!

Has this ever happened to anyone else?
And what should i do?

Keep the Frame and Laugh Manically at GW's Mistake?
Or Return it and be a "nice" Guy?

My friend bought a Tau starter box that didn't have the Devilfish weapons, and instead had another stealth suit.

Needless to say, it was funny.

Accept your good fortune (assuming you actually want a Ravager) and keep it I say.

Maybe next time you are in your local GW, you could whistle a happy contented tune and when asked why you're in a good mood, just shrug carelessly

Just call GW...they don't actually have quality control...it costs too much, it's cheaper for them to send you a whole new box, give them a call and tell them you have the wrong sprue and they will send you out a new box set

I had a problem with the shoulderpads on my SW being melted closed and I got a new box of gray hunters in the mail

Probably the best instance of this was a IG Batallion I sold to a kid. He came back the next week and said there was something very wrong with it. He had started building a heavy weapon base before checking out the rest of the box. The rest of the sprues in the box were 6 complete space marine commanders. The other employees had fun the next week building an impromptu contest

I got catachan sprues in my cadians once - they sent out a replacement of catachans for some reason, so another call and I finally got the cadians I wanted.

They told me to keep the catachans.

See i phoned up before to tell them my Chaos Marine Vindicator had a Dozer Blade missing, wasn't too fussed like, and they said bring it in and we'll replace it for another box.

I had already built it up and painted it at this point ¬¬

They seem to, or used to, put loads of extra bases in with a figure. A single figure often had a sprue of 4 bases. Maybe this was because the cost of someone taking the time to break up the sprues of bases was more then if they just tossed in several extra bases with every figure. Given that being the case it makes their approach to rather exorbitant pricing on a bag of bases somewhat interesting and even less justifiable.

Bought a box of Lootas/Burnas and one of the Loota weapons had a lack-of-plastic mold issue.. only had half the gun. Called em, told em which gun.. they said they would mail me a replacement (assumed that they would send a new frame.. ).... nope, got a brand new box in the mail!

That box had double the body sprue and no burna sprue..

Score!

I once ordered some stuff online from GW. After a month of nothing I called and reported that I hadn't recieved it yet. They promptly sent a replacement order express. 3 days later I had 2 packages sitting on my doorstep.

I've had boxes of marines with too many sprues.

OK, they were the RTB001 boxes, and they were supposed to come with THREE (3) of the special sprues (flamer, powerfist and missile launcher stuff and sgt head and gubbins).

They came with 7 and 8 of these sprues.
15 missile launchers and flamers in 60 guys.

I bought a Rhino box that came with the razorback sprue as well.
