Hey I wanted to share this with you guys! my Girlfriend painted this for me as a gift. its based off my own chapter which is the "American Legion"
she used all water colors

In the grim darkness of the future the Americans still want to think they will be important

However, it is a nice painting - excellent work by your girlfriend.

Reminds me when I made my first marine chapter in 88, American Legion painted all red, white and blue armor. Was totally lame in my opinoin lol, sorry talking about my legion. That pic is awsome beats my legion paint job by a mile, guess thats why I went Chaos....

If you say the Great War people know you mean WWI.
It's more common to hear WWI and WWII instead though.

Easy Ribon - and other Brits here - nothing wrong with a little patriotism.

Yeah, America deserves a few shots at their policy lately - I have a whole heaps of gripes about my country, but there's no need to get insulting.

We all know the sacrifices ALL the allies put up in WWII, and let's not forget Russia paid a much larger price in life than any other country in the war. WWI, we were overly late, but the policy at the time was "It's Europe's Problem" - and the public agreed with Wilson's ideals on this. It's all off-topic anyway. If you want to start a thread about America, bring it to Off-Topic.

Beautiful picture. It really is cool, and it deserves a place on the wall in your room. She definitely has talent and potential man - if she loves painting, encourage her to continue with a paint set!
