Last time I played with one of my ork friends he said it would be cool to have a mob of shoota boyz in s trukk go around and shoot the crap out of everything. So I was thinking maybe I could make an extra shooty trukk convoy. I was planning to have some shoota boys hanging off the side of the trukks firing their shootas. Is this possible? does someone have pictures to help? thanks later

It would look very cool, yes. But it would require major conversion to add rails and running boards along the trukk outsides, and then pose the orks to hold on. And you'd probably need to make each figure removable too, to remove casualties and in case they all need to leave the trukk - alternatively, model them permanently in place but have some kind of passenger counter (e.g. a 12 sided die) to keep track of how many boyz are on board.

If your gonna do something like that I would suggest a squad or two of lootas tossed in some looted wagons for additional fire support. Also just modelling them on and using a die to indicate when they are actually there is a smart idea. I might steal that.

Like I need one arm hanging on the trukk and one arm with the shoota.

He was inspired by the Trukk Boyz pic in the Ork Codex
The right arm is just a choppa arm with choppa removed. It's also magnetised to be removable. Can't remember what the piece is it is stuck to - I'll have to check and get back to you...
