You have to buy it, it is quite pricey.
You can give it a go with a trial version for 30 days.
Other ways of procuring it are wrong.

That will not even be close, photoshop is the worlds most popular professional image manipulation software, you should really just google it are go to www.adobe.com to learn more!

Excellent article. I do have a copy of Photoshop CS4 which I 'obtained' but I confess to only really using it to run the auto contrast, tone and levels as well as cropping. I think I will have a go at trying out some of the more advanced techniques!

Any chance you can see if the same steps are possible with the GIMP image editing program? Its completely free to use (not a limited time trial but actually free) and has lots of fancy buttons I know nothing about!

Apparantly they are relatively equivalent, and the steps used, with the possible exception of the high pass filter, are basic photographic parameters. I think you should be able to assess the necessary steps to duplicate the process with ease.

Is there anything you can recommend to do to combat/correct/fix light glare/reflection on high parts of the model?
For example...light glaring/reflecting off the upper part of cloak folds.
