Right, It's my last year in school this year (finally) and we're doing a yearbook profile. One of the questions is "Any advice for the future" does anybody have anything funny/witty for me to put in as mine.
I I'm not bothered it won't actually be my quote, I just want something memorable and funny.
Also, deadline is 25/3/11, I'll tell you which one I submitted then
Honestly that was what I thought this thread was going to be about. I guess I have been reading Yahoo! news too much. The end of the war looks like it is coming any day now.
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.
"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation
I would advise you to remember what a bloody waste of time and wholly unecessary yearbooks are so you can teach your children, there is no need to make one.
The world will have more trees and be much happier for the want of yearbooks.
I was one of about 5 people who didn't buy a leaver's hoody (at a stupidly inflated price) and/or a year book (90% of people who bought one, also bought the other) at the end of high school. From what i've seen, the presence of such items in their inventories has had little to no impact upon their lives whatsoever.
Yearbooks are silly. Don't be silly; don't buy a yearbook.

Abraham Lincoln: seven minutes ago... we, your forefathers, were brought forth upon a most excellent adventure conceived by our new friends, Bill... and Ted. These two great gentlemen are dedicated to a proposition which was true in my time, just as it's true today. Be excellent to each other. And... PARTY ON, DUDES!

Yearbooks were a great tool because years after high school, you'll still bump into people you knew. You won't remember their name, and they'll tell you some gossip about other people from high school.
Then, when you get home, you can break out the year book and figure out who they were and who they were talking about.
Even if you're one of the anti-hip kids that thinks it's cool to hate lame things like yearbooks, get one. You'll thank me in a decade or so.
Although, Facebook may have made the yearbook totally obsolete. Now, you can stalk all those people from high school at your own convenience...
Your advice to the future should be:
"Remember that huge party when the entire student council tried meth? Yeah, I just ruined any hope of you becoming president."
