Cool. I'll check them out in the fullness of time. I have to install Nexus first and just to have the game running for more than 5 minutes (at best) will be nice.

The thing with game music is that I usually have my own MP3 collection playing in the background, so don't tend to listen to in-game music.

You're missing 50% of the immersion then, the 40s/50s music on GNR really sets the mood IMHO.

Dave is totaly right about the music, it makes this game so special.

Although sometimes my music fits the mood well ...and sometimes it doesn't, but is amusing.

Well, I had to drop the textures a bit but I just had FO3 working...until I left the vault, I saw the wasteland and then it crashed... I'll try again later.

the problem is that the radio also gives you the news.... and sometimes the news are important to you...

FO3 crashed on me quite so often... hold on... eventually... for no obvious reason it gets better...
the most frustrating thing was i had massive crashes during the character generation phase... and you can´t save during this...see my world of pain here?^^

The worst times are when you realise that you haven't saved for ages, usually at the time when you think "I'll just do this bit and then save it..." *crash*

try this, it sounds more complicated than it really is, it's just modifying a text file

Didn't do anything today because my Niece got married today. It was a beautiful day for a wedding too, plus it was short and sweet. I hate long weddings.....

Yeah, I jumped from xp to 64bit 7, so I had lots of things that stopped working properly...

I'll give that a go tomorrow (as it appears to have suck round to half 1 here).

I've done something similar to Skyrim to make it louder, so fiddling with .ini files is fine by me.

Ahh but I'm a scientist, I'm trained to ask "why?".

I changed the .ini and I managed to run about springvale without any crashes, so if I go quiet you know where I am.
