Right so I have a Vanilla SM LR and I was wondering whether I could hold Lysander and a 5 man CC Termie Squad in there?

You sure can. The LR capacity is 12, each model in terminator armor counts as two and I believe Lysander is not in terminator armor so he only counts as 1 (11 total). If he is in terminator armor, you are still ok (12 total). Terminators can take the LR as a dedicated transport, as well.

In the SM codex both the regular LR and Redeemer pattern have a capacity of 12 and the Crusader has 16. 5 terminators and Lysander will take up 12, so you will be able to ride in any of the patterns listed in the SM codex.

since you had a sm lr your fine, its the branching chapters that get gimped on carrying capacity. its a great lil thing i forgot when i played my friend a couple months back.
