It's a non-collectible card game, every thing you need to play is in the box.

That sucks but I think they will have a 'deathzone' pack out within 6 mths of it's release with 4 new teams.

So, this has some potential, but did they really mean "...excitement of an entire bloodbowl SEASON, all in about an hour." ?? Or did they mean game. If they actually meant season, I'll pass. If they meant game, I might be in because BBowl takes a long time to play one game.

As far as I know it is not about playing the game but about managing your team over the course of a season - meaning buying players, improving theirs stats and so on.
The term season should be correct.

I am a bit puzzled though about the deck building mechanics. Does that mean, that it will be a deck building game in the veins of Dominion and Thunderstone? Or is it rather a living card deck (aka a not collectible collectible card game) where you build your deck before the game starts? I would say it is the first, but am not sure.
