So, after a lot of building yesterday afternoon and some touch-ups this morning, I proudly present my first Dreadknight aka Knight Titan:

Lord Katchar, Hound of Wrath

The Dreadknightkit is full of win for modellers and I really enjoyed working with it. I have him in two parts right now so I can stick him together pretty easily. If that proves to be unstable I will simply glue both parts together.

Legs:

Some bobbles for the pilot to climb up:

I also changed the engraved "Terra" on the left knee into a "Mars":

Whole:

Front:

Upper body close-up:

Cannon, left side:

Chainsword, right side:

Scale shot with Sister Commander

I'm really proud of him so far, can't wait to paint him up and/or do some more

Can you not hear the music of the gods ?

Neat... I knew it was only a matter of time before a Dreadknight got turned into a proper knight

Now all we need is a comparison to an equivalent Defiler based Knight

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Flinty - Depending on how its done mate, the defiler - knight is bigger.

OT: Looks pretty damn good, will have to keep an eye on this.
However, a knight is not a titan.

I like it!!!!

A note for those who are less GS and plasticard skilled than OP...you can achieve similar by using the cockpit from a sentinel. Once my building/painting waiting list clears up I may build one.

Whats my game?

See I don't like the head coming out of the chest area, it doesn't work with the DK proportions in my opinion. That said, it's a fantastic piece, and I really like the attention to detail you've used in its construction.

Ghostly, it may look weird, but if you look at the old paladin models, he's dead on in terms of where he put the head. It looks like it could be a paladin titan from the old Adeptus Titanicus game...

Another great Dread Knight conversion.

Is anyone actually building the stock kit?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Wow, stunning. All I'd change would be to hang the banner in line with the cannon rather than across it.

I'm rather pleased to see Knights and Mega Dreds being churned out with the DK kit, I thought it was going to be a complete write-off. Huzzah.

Codex: Grey Knights touched me in the bad place...

That is a very kool model I like it a lot.

And I am surprised (more so because Alpharius has commented) that there has been no Knights are not Titans comment as of yet...

Very, very cool conversion!

Reminds me of the good ol' days of playing Epic Space Marine...

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

No and I think GW made a smart move by making a kit no one wanted for its intended purpose but purely as conversion gold. Scratch that conversion Diamond encrusted money laying gold!

Sorry forgot to say @Captain Engelhardt My room is now painted with my brains cause you blew my mind!

Alright, that's pretty dope. I think I'd make that banner thinner though; it looks a little funny hanging off that gun.

What I find mystifying is that GW made the same mistake they made with the Stormraven. Why not let all marine chapters have it? They'd sell a hell of a lot more models. For both the Stormraven and the Dread Knight they should have made versions for normal marine chapters. All they have to do is publish rules in White Dwarf and done. It's decisions like this which have contributed to them losing sales for the past two years.
