You joking? How did they figure that out? Surely the tech is the same and therefore equally susceptible. Oh well, thanks for the correction.

The rulebooks says it's because of more advanced cooling systems in vehicles. As far as I can figure it out, the vehicles are carrying a heavier more advanced cooling system compared to the ones infantry have.

Wow, that's looking really cool! Very ornate.
As far as names for the plasma turret go, you could try following the naming conventions for multi-bolter weapons.
2 barrels = storm
6 barrels = hurricane
4 barrels = .......tropical storm?
Maybe something like tempest, torrent, squall, something along those lines.
Or you could go with something a bit more chapter specific. Caliban-pattern Quad Plasma Turret?

Well technically it's going to be a twin linked double barrelled plasma gun so storm could apply. I thought of using something different but I think all the good storm names are taken. Tropical depression just doesn't sound terrifying enough....

If you're still taking name suggestions, I'd like to recommend Lion's Roar, with maybe a bit of fluff that the Fellblade was so named because of the roaring sound it makes when it discharges all of its weapons at once.
Looking great so far! Glad to see more Fellblades coming down the production line.

As its not a generic pattern of weapon system, I think it should really relate towards the legion. In the same way as LR crusaders are first and foremost a BT tank.
Caliban, Lion, Repentance, Retribution are some of the names you could consider.

Considering the DA are all about "zomg we're bad, bad, BAD spehss mahreens we must be unforgiven raargh!", then Purifier-pattern-Plasma (guns) sounds about right, especially considering they'd need all that plasma to take down fallen.
Guns is in brackets so not to spoil the alliteration.

more like:

I disagree. They don't want to purify traitors, they want to redeem themselves for a sin that thier ancestors commited, which they won't tell anyone.

aah..I still like the retribuiton/retributor...maybe they changed the name after they commited whatever they want to be forgiven about.
and I learnt an interesting fact from dakka- there was a gay poet called lionel johnson who wrote a poem about his homosexuality called "the dark angel".

I highly doubt GK would have one, because any Fellblades were in service during the heresy, most likely having been made from STCs recovered during the Great Crusade.
I'm also pretty sure no new Fellblades have been made in 10,000 years, although it is more than possible I assume. Just get a Baneblade and do some conversions. But Techpriests are so loath to "desecrate" existing technology.
