that´s the spirit!!! and i too have to say... there is a difference between being pushy and being a douche... and we saw the latter...

if i compare for instance a pushy and motivating guy like LDD (he is very forward and demanding ) with henners... well... i think i made my point...

a good conversation makes as much sense in a hobby development formum as picture updates... what if the OP did not in fact have the means to make pics of his work? he could tell us about it and it would have totally every right to be portrayed here...

Meh, I shan't argue, I don't relate to the conversation much and just enjoyed the project thus far. Thus self-interest pushed me to make my comment; I'd enjoy seeing more.

Eh, of all the bodily fluids you could lubricate a model with, I'd say blood would be the only one I wouldn't look down on you for using.

Good job!

I was talking about the resin secretions from Mxwllmdr's carapace.

You wasn't under the impression he was human, were you?

I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I have been slacking off but with good reason, I assure you. No matter, most of this you have seen, actually got some more work done on the upper deck:

Layout, again:

Lower deck nearly finished, main update on this pic is the rear wall hatch door:

Aerial shot of the entire upper deck:

Some of you may remember back when I did the first resin tests I made some Adeptus Mechanicus emblems, well, here you see the dash I made out of resin copies of the Land raider and Rhino dashs:

Looking downstairs and at the two crewmen stations:

Main gun deck entrance hatch:

Ok, that's it for now. Tomorrow there will be another update as I have begun putting the removeable roof together and am going to start fitting it into place. the floor on the upper deck is looking rather plain IMO too. May have to put some plates down on it to break it up a little. As usual, I would love to hear your thoughts, particularly on the Main gun Deck entance hatch area. IMO it needs more details but can't really figure out what.

THis thread has over ten thousand views. I would like to thank everybody for stopping in when they can and hope to see your continued support.

That's awesome! As much detail as a plastic kit.

Will the lights be removed before you paint it?

Best way IMO to paint it would be to use a liquid mask on the LED's, then paint.

Looks good so far

The rod is easy to bend. It is so darn thin. THicker rods take a little more finesse but it can be done.

As far as detail, I don;t think it is where I want it yet but, it wil get there. Gonna try to finish up getting the roof on this afternoon and detail the underside of the upper deck floor and maybe start putting the canopy together... Pics later....

Henners, the lights are part of the wall. Gonna need that masking as Horst says but it isn't going to be hard.....

that flyer is looking simply stunning...it actually still nedds a gazillion of rivets but details like the steps and weaponsracks, which could use some hooks by the way... make this piece so much win!!!

OMG, and I just borrowed a rotating leather punch that does, like, nine sizes. I am trying not to think about the rivets. Didn't get the new pics up last night but will today at lunch.....

Rivets can be done with cylindrical strip styrene too. Just make sure you have a nice fine pair of tweezers to manipulate the tiny things. I had a hole punch at one point, nice for small circles, but it has seemed to of vanished...

I also like the new title, much more apt. Great work on the THGS.

Looking awesome! But I have to ask....Is that a Chaos Bolter on the bottom right there?

Anyway, I would put some sort of monitor or a "Coms" system next to the door to the Main gun Deck, like a small speaker or something. And a hand rail to hold on to!
