Mostly, on my phone.

Looking really bold and strong. Has a Khadoran vibe (warmachine) that I'm really digging, your colours seem to accentuate the steampunkyness of the mini.

@ WarbossDakka, Not sure i can explain exactly step by step but here goes. I used army painter black, then built up the highlights with thinned down GW eshin grey. After that I used dawnstone working the high points with the side of my brush, the last highlight is ulthuan grey to pick out the where i thought the light might strike. The last step was a wash of nuln oil in the creases and some of the larger surfaces. Will try to post up a picture soon how it turned out.

Finished Praetor and apothecary the latter I forgot to base quite a few months ago. Dug up the heavy bolter squad I also started and will be working on those next.

Thanks for looking.

A big thanks all for checking in on my blog and the kind words.

Have been in a bit of a rut on the painting front, could not get the juices flowing so I took a look through all my unpainted models. Like the rest of us my backlog is a bit intimidating, my initial thoughts were to finish the heavy bolter squad but the thought of doing more red models left me feeling a bit meh. Luckily I found an interesting rule about the plaguebearers, units of 20+ get a minus one to be hit. Having ten already done I broke open my unopened box and set to work. Here is a shot in their initial build, hoping to get some primer and basecoat before thanksgiving.

Very nicely done. Love the dull green contrasting with the bright pinks.

Suitably disgusting- great color selection. Also like the shading work on the SM- truly good use of color.

@Gitz, I really have enjoyed painting up the PlagueBearers and have found one more unopened box of them, will give me a unit of 30 it I want to field that many. A veritable bubble of disgust to hide my HQs behind.

@ Meer, thanks! The caping is one of my favorite things to do now. ;-D

@Graven, your short answer says it all, exactly what I was hoping to evoke.

@ Solar, thanks I owe a lot of my improvement to being a member of Dakka. All the great pics and tutorials has pushed me to be a better artist if I may use that term for my painting.

Should have some pics up soon of the finished unit.
