Okay I figured I might as well go ahead and loot one of these things. I have gotten tons of PMs telling me to do it after everyone saw the photoshop mockup that I made. Anyways he is still WIP but hopefully you get an idea of where I am going with this guy. Let me know what you think!

Oh yeah! My own little deus ex machina reference. I imagine that the commander was standing there barking orders, when a Warboss comes from behind and punts him all the way back to Terra.

Well I made that old photoshop pic of the looted Dread Knight within an hour of the original pics release. As soon as I got a hold of a dread knight I got to work looting this thing. There is a few more floating around here though. Seems like a nice choice for looting.

Yes it will. It will go along great with my Looted Trygon! I have already used them both in an Apocalypse game, (I had 10,000 points of superheavies...)

I really like the model, but wonder if you're going to re-do some elements of the paint job. I think you maybe went a little too heavy and a little too uncontrolled with the dip.

The wash went on a little too thick, but it will be ok once I go back and start painting on it again. The flow enchancer that I mixed into the ink and water mixture gives me 3 or 4 days to work with it. I can actually go back in with a wet brush and loosen some of the thick places up.

It will end up looking like this soon:

Maybe you could call it "Da loot'd Dredie" or something.
That's very impressive, though.
I just would like to know if and how you'd be able to play these.

Deff Dread Gnite is what i have been calling it, but I like Da loot'd Dredie too.

I have used this as a Mega Dread in a Apocalypse game (just this last weekend). He might be able to go as a Deff Dread in a 40K game. The base might be a problem and the height but I usually don't care about that stuff anyways. It is probably one of the reasons why I always lose.

Yeah he is way more appropriate as a Mega Dread. I used him and my Looted Trygon as Mega Dreads in a Apocalypse Tournament the Sunday before last. I am trying to think of something about the same size that would make a good counts as Mega Dread so I can use the formation. Any ideas?

I am glad you liked the tank as well. I just about have it finished. I hope to put up some new pics this weekend.

A LOOTED TRYGON!!! dam... why did'nt i think of that.
and it depends on what bits you have knocking around. The eldar war walker has some good legs on its so you could work around that to make it beefyer and less feeble. oh and the chaos defiler could be a good base as well with all those combat legs and also the potentail of having a ork pilot green stuffed into the model and it has the space for some huge daka gunz. And well i cant really think of any other ones that are really big enough to use. i want to see this looted trygon though, sounds epic
