Quick question. Do Blood Angel Vanguard vets with jump packs benefit from the Descent of Angels rule? I can't seem to find it in the codex and it doesn't seem to be on the errata either.
Thanks.

Your right, they do have DOA. Get Astorath in your list and hope that your Vanguard get the red thirst on a 1-3, 4 attacks each (power weapons ) Str5 I5.

DOA makes Vanguard Veterans so much more reliable. As a Vanilla Marines player, I've never had the chance to use them yet, mostly due to the fact that they get very expensive. If I were a BA player though, I'd be much more inclined to play them more often.

I'm personally kitting mine out with melta bombs and making them have more of an anti-tank focus. Think that is a good idea?

I don't see why not. But if you're giving any of the Veterans Power Fists or Thunder Hammers, I'd avoid giving the MB's to those models specifically. Anyone with a Power Weapon or hitting at their normal initiative can get one. I'd also recommend getting a Relic Blade for the Sgt as well.

Eh no relic blades in the BA codex, I'm pretty sure. Think they replace them with the Glaive Encarmine

You might be better served with an honor guard squad packing 4 meltaguns.
