Good evening good people,

I have read through Dakk Dakka FAQ but still cannot seem to find an answer.

When I link to an image in Photobucket account it gets posted in the forums as planned. However, it is always very large. Is there a means of reducing the size in the forums? If not, how do I resize the image manually prior to linking to it?

For example, I would like to display the following image but only at 1/4 to 1/2 of the size below. When I post it though it comes out huge!

Thank you

All the forum is doing is parsing the link to wherever the photo is hosted. You could try uploading it to the Dakka gallery (although not sure if there are sizing tools available).

Alternatively, crop it yourself using paint or something similar.

If your image is larger than the size of the display window, dakka will automatically resize it to the largest that fits. Try shrinking this window to see it work. As such, you dont really need to worry about images being too large.

And an important thing to know is that if you use the Dakka Gallery to host your image (which is free of charge), we do offer different sizing choices when linking them into any forum.
