Driven almost to dispair in the last great ork wars, Commander farsight finds it impossible to reconcile the horrors of war with a return to normality in the Tau Empire. Gathering about him like minded veterans he seeks out ever greater seperation from the greater good in the vicious guerrilla wars that rage on the empires periphery. Initialy mourned by the ethereals he is now a figure of hate and has been hunted deeper and deeper into the shadows. With his ultra loyal Exiled Cadre veterans and Kroot mercenaries he fights the desperate, savage, unconventional battles that rage both around him and in his mind.

Limited power and almost no resupply from the empire has lead the exiled to develop new guerrilla weapons, burst cannons and fusion blasters have had to be removed from unrepairable vehicles and modified into heavy weapon assult squads.
Farsight has found even his crisis suit an encumberance in ambush situations and now fights out of at as often as in it.

The last of the develfish have also been heavily modified into the new mark 1 Stingray. A tank mounted Shard cannon fires shrapnel at close range devestating the enemy in humid close range Jungle firefights. Like their tanks the tankies have embraced the darkness as they move away from the common good and now resemble Kroot more than fire worriors.

Commander Marlon "Brando" farsight in a dawn assult on an ork enclave with his exiled cadre veterans.

Altered forever in the fires of war, the exiled cadre have abandoned the tau fear of hand to hand combat embedded in the fire worrior doctrine to fully embrace up close and personal slaughter.

That's...pretty darn awesome. Very well done conversions, and an awesome tribute.

Will there be more?

Nice models! After working on this codex (though Draythur wrote most of it) it's nice to finally see something material come from it. I especially like how you modelled the heavy weapons.

Nice minis, but remember that Farsight doesn't like Kroot. That is, unless this is your own Tau character named Farsight.

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:
