I recently gave in to my want of an IG army, and began to trade away some old stuff for some cadians, which is why my first model is the metal coms guy, rather than a normal guardsman
C&C is appreciated, as well as any tips for color scheme. I wanted something simple, yet visually pleasing. Tell me if you think it works.

Looks good, although his uniform looks a little glossy (perhaps a little too much water in the inks/paint/wash used?)

Can be solved quite easily by using a matt varnish.

I'll take better pics once the ink wash is dry, as the light reflects off the wet ink and makes that 'glossy' effect

This is very neatly painted mate. the flesh colour is a bit yellow'y' but it generally looks great !

HA! I do the same thing, take pics and post before it's even dry! Brilliant work you have there, really like the color scheme. The rest of the army is going to look just as great. Looking forward to seeing more work from you.

I have the rest of the CCS, but with a Tanith guy with a plasma gun instead of the melta guy, and 3 squads of kasrkin, all waiting to be painted
Tomorrow, I'll post up better pics, and I'll start a PandM blog for the army as it comes together.

I'd say... the color scheme works welll, if a little drab. I'd add in some grey if you're feeling adventurous.
