I had one week to paint these guys so they could go on display for a few weeks before release of the figs at the FLGS. Great kits, fun to paint. These pics are after gloss spray for protection, but before the Matte spray to dull them back down. But i'm running behind so I took pics when I could. There are a few things I wish I had time to go back and fix, but they go to the display case tomorrow morning. The two wytch crew will get painted over the next week and then delivered to their ride.

Comments and feedback welcome and appreciated. This set of figs is my first with an airbrush for basic colors and some details. The pics are also a little washed out ... Still learning my new camera and the lighting was just overhead as I snapped these quickly without added background lighting. anyway, some of the shading is darker in person, such as on the venom-- you really can't see the depth in these photos.

kudos my friend they are absolutly stunning.

i would love to see a razorwing in this paint scheme, do you have plans to include one to your army as i would love to see it.

Theres something about raiding planets and then bathing in the slaves misery and torment that really gets me. I love DE, and can now play in 2000point matches with the addition of my latest stuff! Kabal of the Purple Blaze.

I also have 2 squads of IG Shock troopers and a Platoon Comand squad as a start to my IG army For Cadia Check out my blog - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/380874.page#3047386

Thanks for the comments! This was all pretty quick ... I normally paint much slower (like one unit or vehicle per week) so the airbrush really sped things up.

Mikeb2817: My DE scheme is a red and black, so when I get my razorwings they will be in that scheme. I don't know if the store will do a display model for it, but itf they do I'll be doing it in this same Venom/poison theme.

bOOsh: I think it fits their theme ... the DE have two distinct themes ... the graceful elves of doom theme, and the manufactured horrors theme. I think/hope that when we see the wrack and grotesque models that all of them, the talos/crhonos and the Hammy all kind of share the same "walked out of a horror flick" feel to them. The beast packs fit that them too a little, if you discount "birds with sharp wings." Though I suppose flocks of birds have made their fair share of horror flick appearances too.
