So I am planning on going to Gencon this year, but I dont think I am gunna be able to swing all 4 days. Thinking of going only 1 or 2 days to check everything out. In your guys opinion, what would be the best days to go? We are going to go more for shopping, and checking out new things, but we may get into an event or 2. Hard to say.
Any input would be great

Hard to say. If you want to see more things with less crowds, and have a chance at getting new releases, go Thursday and Friday.
If you want to see GenCon in all of it's insane glory, do Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday is a GREAT shopping day. Many dealers will throw huge discounts and and are willing to negotiate big time: They don't want to haul all the stuff back. But most of the new super cool releases are generally sold out by Friday afternoon, unless the seller is just selling a few copies per day.

I've only been once, last year, but I'd probably recommend Friday and Saturday. There's a TON going on, and the crowds are out in full force. I didn't go Thursday last year, but Sunday was just a really slow day, generally.

Unless you are planing on buying a ton of stuff and LOVE to haggle, I would go on friday and saturday.
If you are into haggling it is worth it to go to the exhibit hall on sunday just before close to haggle out the best deal you can on whatever is left over.

Thanks for the responses so far guys Thinking of maybe heading down Friday, going to the con for 1/2 day, then spending the whole day Saturday, then checking out the deals offered sunday before heading home. Maybe that would give me the best of both worlds
