maybe for the 40-50th anniversary?

i cant help but feel like we'll get these eventually considering how GW has been fleshing out Horus Heresy recently.

each Primarch should come with two models, the Pre Heresy Model and the Post Heresy model. for Primarchs that died we could get corpse models.

also seems kind of strange that the two missing chapters (as far as im aware) havnt been mentioned in the Horus Heresy books, as they are first hand accounts of what happened. I hope this book series eventually reveals what happens to them.

The theory is that GW won’t touch the Horus Heresy because it’s their one and only get out of jail card. I’d say the current unpopularity might force their hand into such an expansion. That being said, the release of the primarchs might be such a good thing as knowing GW, they’d charge $70 for a single Finecast primarch blister.

In regards to the two missing chapters. These were purposely left blank for fans so that they could create their own fluff (e.g. creating a chapter SM chapter descendent from one of the lost primarchs).

The two missing legions WERE mentioned in the horus heresy. Specifically, "the first heretic" where lorgar and Magnus are discussing Lorgar's Situation, and Logar says something akin to "i do not want to go the route of our two lost brothers" (not a direct quote) and they speak of the Ultramarine's ranks being bolstered by the "lost legions"

They're fate is also heavily hinted at in Prospero burns

Everything said here is correct

Warhammer 30k would sell like crazy, trust me! They're definitely using it as a back-up plan.

With new marks of armour coming out more and more I wouldn't be surprised to see a 30k big release or expansion at some point.

as soon as GW realises idiots are willing to pay £30-40 for a bubble ridden lump of resin that vaquely resembles a primarchs left butt cheek you can bet your anus they'll be selling them, they are just taking time by experimenting with sculpting materials until they find the cheapest worst material possible to sell you

I think they should at least release an expansion for running a campaign in the heresy and possibly models to boot

Yeah, but back then Leman Russ was some random commander, not a primarch.

I would love to see it, especially Rogal Dorn. I would also like to see them release the Big E, although he'd cost soooo much. :|

Yeah, there's a classically bad picture from the Rogue Trader era with "Imperial Spacewolf Commander Leman Russ" and his "osmotic gill."

I would sell a kidney for a Perturabo model. Hell, I'd sell both for a chance to use Perturabo in the Drop Site Massacre.

Because it's Epic, not 40k....

They released several Primarch models for Epic. Of the top of my head, you cam get Magnus, Angron and Mortarion.

They have been mentioned in the series and the one key point you forgot is that you are assuming they are still around during the time frame of the books. Fluff sets their demise before the books

Relictors: 1500pts

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

Quite a LOT of people seem to forget this. The missing legions were 'lost and forgotten' very early on. So saying that they were omitted to provide room for fan creativity no longer holds. Because it IS known what happened to them(just not by us). Everything so far does not lend itself to creating successor chapters as their existence seems to be finite.
