Hi all,
Been away from the hobby for about 8 years now, I quit when it became too expensive, recently I got that old urge and treated myself to some tactical marines from eBay.
Just looking for some comments really.
From left to right here is the order in which I painted them, I think they get better as they go along, the first two I think I went kinda heavy on the varnish spray and I totally didn't notice the parts I missed on the heavy weapon until the flash picked it up.

Nice work! I'd say the washes look a little splotchy in some places, but that could be a good look if used properly. Really nice!

Welcome back! I took a break for 10 years and got back into in late 2009. I stopped for a variety of reasons, but am glad I got back into it. I really like the look of your work and would love to see your older models.
Did you still have paint from back then?
