Something different. This will be a real slow burner to get started.
I'm planning a new board to play on, a red desert planet inhabited by Tau



It's going to be a flat board with no hills just lots of structures.
For the 6x4 table top I've ordered this zuzzy mat.



It's going to have lots of hard buildings and structures, all of it will be LOS blocking terrain.

So that the Tau outpost is structurally uniform I'm planning on casting Tau resin architectural bits to place on every thing.
I'll be making moulds for Tau doorways / windows / AirCon / security panels / what ever. and casting up as many of each piece as I need.

I have all the buildings, but as I don't actually play tau, I'll need to source the bits.
I need lots of tau bits that could used to make architectural items. or modeled together to make stuff that looks like it goes on buildings.



So do you guys have spare bits/ideas I can buy/have?

Oh why did you have to choose a Total Recall image... You could have chosen anything, but no, you had to be Quaid! I've got a pile of random Tau stuff. I'll see if there is anything in there that I can spare

Ok plans are a foot, but I didn't give you much to work with...
Let me enlighten you!

So about 3 (or 4) years ago I was feeding my fish, I looked at the fish food container and I thought ...ummm Tau?
So for the last 3 (or 4) years I've been hoarding these containers.
Well two things have happened that has brought this tau board Idea to the front of my pile of ideas and hobby wants.

1st) the company changed their fish food packaging design... so no more tau domes :(
2nd) I want to capatalise on the fact my Dark eldar have clear bases and the board colour don't matter!

I think this will be cool just need Tau details to complete the deal.
