Did Commisar Yarrick ever hunt down and kill Ghazkull Thraka?

I believe he's still chasing him after kicking him off Armageddon... I could be wrong however.

well, he didnt quite kick him off- ghazghull got bored and left, so yarrick followed him.

but yes, they are still running around after each other.

I don't think Yarrik could actually kill Ghazghkull Thraka. Ghazghkull would eat him for breakfast.

That being said, I really do hope that they continue that story line. I also really hope that Ghazghull wins, in my opinion, the imperium has enough heroes.

No. That would mean the death of a highly important character-whoever wins.

But that what makes a good story, everyone can't just be alive. Someone has to die, im pretty sure the living saint is dead, but is still playable.

This is a story arc that has to end in someone dying, no idea how it can end any other way. In my opinion the orks are due for a win, they tend to always get the short end of the stick in magor engagments. We orks also don't have much fluff(and the fluff we do have we lose, or isn't continued). The Imperium has enough heroes let them lose for once.

Sometimes the fight is more important than the victory. I think a very good way to do it with an advanced timeline is to have both of them dead due to some off-battlefied situation, (Yarrick died of disease, Thraka died in a Rok crash, or something similar) with their respective proteges continuing their fight.

People as epic as Yarrik and Thraka can't just die in a crash, or a disease. Thats likes if Darth Vder dies of a broken toe, or Gandolf dying from choking on some scrambled eggs.

They have to die in a epic clash of epicness. A clear winner, and clear loser is required in this situation. At least in my opinion

they are both still alive, i think that they should both simultaneously rip eachother's heads off. luckily for Yarrick, he is so bada$$ that losing his head wont stop him and he will just reattach it, lol

In my opinion i think that old Thraka is just taking the piss out of yarrick and when Yarrick is floating through space trying to find him Thraka is actualy following him from behind and destroying worlds of the imperium as he goes. Cheeky Bastard!

hah yea, but how about all those other heroes that died epically. Like King Leonidas and his spartans, just because Yarrik dies, doesn't mean he can't be a hero.

I just feel the orks really need one in the win column. Or not to lose there one true role-model

But it was somewhat poetic; and in the end that's what Yarrick deserves. I don't think the fight should end any other way past mutual destruction of himself and Gaz but they can do it an a grand way leaving both having won but lost.

Orks are winning all the time, every time. They are the only race in the galaxy actually having fun, whereas everyone else is beset by heresy, chaos, genocide and general grimdark.

Nah, Yarrik and Helbrecht are still chasing him.

I wonder if they have a plan for when they get him, or if they are just blindly following?

It's like the Doctor and the dileks, or batman and joker, they're doomed to fight each other forever. Either neither will die or both.

Eldrad died psychically fighting a Blackstone Fortress.

In what way is that not epic?

I love the IG, and I do not agree with you, at least in fluff terms. Yarrick is just imba. As far as I know, the only black stain on his record was Golgotha, where he lost pretty much his entire force and his Baneblade Fortress of Arrogance.

But expedition was sent back to Golgotha to retrive the Baneblade. Almost everyone that time died too. Out of the original armored regiment (somewhere between 100-200 Leman Russ', Chimeras, Thirty-sixers, and everything else, less then a score were left. But they got the Baneblade back in time for the showdown on Armageddon.
