32mm, sculpted by Gael Goumon:

Shamelessly stolen from Frothers (link only for the bold).

Apparently sculpted for the 'Predastore.

If you have never checked out Gael's blog, I would recommend it. (Not all entirely safe for work).

Good to know that Predator females are human from the neck down.

I see the Inverse Armour Law applies to Predators as well.

To be fair, none of the males are wearing much either. Both seem to be treated about equal.

Well, just like the males.

Still, they're an interesting mix between being creepy and possessing an exotic allure. Certainly not your "off the mill" sexy humalien.

Does not work for me. Predator is one of the best hard sci fi concepts around. Random appeals to the teenage male in us all just don't fit. Even though the males were, admittedly, pretty human from the neck down as well, its just too obviously human. I just don't see her ripping out my spine.

Nice sculpt though.

WOW! I just checked out his blog and I think we've found the next sculptor for the new sisters of battle minis. GW should really be calling this guy to do the new sculpts. amazing work.

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Well, considering predators males look exactly like human males except for the head I think the body fits well. Needs the netting sculpting on tho.

that is sad...

I always imagined that in yautja races, females are like social leaders, like in a matriachal society.

That would explain why males are so tied up in go and hunt the biggest bloddy trophy, after all, only the best hunters (the ones who came back with the better trophys) would gain the right to be part a matriarch "haren".

Well, that dont mean some females could want to go hunt for fun, right?

The mini is great, im just sad for the "personal fluffy shatered"...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...

Judging by the link in OP, its a statue, and likely an expensive one...I saw a $225 or two and a couple at $650.

My mistake...the artist does minis, the store linked in OP has the statues.

The Predator fluff seems to diverge a bit in the movies...it goes from intergalactic game hunters to Alien eradicators.

Really not?

I get that female Yautja obviously appear somewhat sexualized, but the males were already, too. It might break consistency to let one gender depart from what seems to be cultural heritage just to suppress these "random appeals".

It'd be like a Conan movie with all the girls running around in burkas.

I think the sculpture will look far more threatening once the paint is on. The paint scheme does a lot to make Predators look ... well, predator'ish, imo. It's like with those signal colours of some types of poisonous frogs. Imagine the male Predator from the movies all in grey and he'd look far less dangerous, too.

According to the Predator books they are, and also are larger and physically tougher than the males.

As such the concept presented is "oh dear" from a fluff viewpoint.

Even if it is Machiko out of the original Predator vs Alien, it seems unlikely she would wander around a hunt/battlezone wearing little more than a G string for protection.

That said, it is very well sculpted from a technical viewpoint.
