Almost done with one out of two Valkyries for my 1750 list.
This one isn't 100% complete. Glass needs details and the light on the left side of the hull needs paint.

As usual I am done with my painting when it's dark, and good sun light is hard to find.

Wow, that is amazing, I have no Idea why I look around on the showcase threads though? It just makes me wish I was a better painter!

thing is, the way I have painted my Valkyries is really simple, and I think most painters can do it.

Basic run down:

1. Spray green
2. Devlan mud wash in all the gaps and around the bolts.
3. Paint metal areas.
4. Badab black wash on metal areas.
5. Details, such as lights, markings, etc (transfers).
6. Weathering, I use Forge worlds weathering powder. Gives instant easy weathering effect.
7. spray with matt varnish.

Oh btw, the cockpit isn't done yet

Very, very good work. Vash! The dirt streaks give the model so much gritiness.

I love it! The technique sounds simple enough, so I think I can commit to my Valkyrie with little difficulty with it.

...But am I the only who's reminded of Master Chief? :O

That looks amazing. The windows stand out a little, so you might want to darken them, but overall really amazing.

That's very, very cool. I would only recommend you paint a glass effect on the windows so they don't look so flat.

Overall, the model is very impressive though i don't like how the windows are at the moment. Should be good when you finish it.

I love the model, especially the warpaint you have done. However, the windows (not sure if you made them out to be tinted) don't wow me like the warpaint does.

As many of you have noted, the windows are not done yet. I was just eager to take a picture of the Valkyrie as it was before all natural light was gone for the day.

I'll get a new picture once the windows have more work on them. Shades and reflections.
