Just thought I'd share this with you.

And appearantly, the show is now called The Last Airbender instead of Avatar. Probably to avoid confusion with Cameron's Smurf movie. And to remind us of the aweful live action movie.

Interesting. Wonder if it's the same scriptwriting team behind it?

I loved the air bender kid he was funny and one of the coolest characters out there. Hopefully this one will be as good as the other season

Yup. Same creative team. It takes place 70ish years after Avatar and the chick (Korra) is the new Avatar and is seeking training in air bending from Aang and Katara's son Tenzin. The world also has progressed technologically and there is a great deal of anti-bending sentiment among the cities. Should be exciting.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

The animation is a noticeable improvement on what was already a fairly well animated series. Hopefully the "cinematography" (I'm fairly sure there's a specific animation equivalent, but I'm not going to look it up) maintains what is shown in the trailer. It seems to take some of the more impressive techniques from anime, and subtly Westernizes them.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

Tenzin's Ang's son? Awesome! That's the character voiced by J.K. Simmons.

Kiernan Shipka as JINORA

Daniel Dae Kim as HIROSHI SATO

David Faustino as MAKO

Seychelle Gabriel as ASAMI

Lance Henriksen as LIEUTENANT

I was excited about the new series before. Now, well, I'm still very excited. The trailer looks awesome, for sure. And JK Simmons has got to be hilarious.

There's a character named Mako? Most awesome.

Heck, the guy that voiced uncle Iroh(sp?) was credited as Mako. Too bad he died during season 2 so they had to get a new actor for him.
