Hello, Thursday is my gaming day and while I usually run all the way up to carkeek plaza, I discovered that card kingdom is right next to where I work on thursdays and I'd love to meet someone there for a good game of 40k. Or two if it goes quickly. The tables there are pretty sweet and there is a cafe/bar attached? Planning on hitting there around 5:00pm and would love a game. I play Eldar, got stuff for anywhere from 500 to 3000 points.

Thanks much.

Hello again those looking for a game. I'm planning on hitting up card kingdom again this Thursday. Likely every thursday actually. The place is pretty fantastic. Overstuffed chairs. Cup holders attached to the gaming tables. A decent circulation of people and an attached bar to snag food or a drink while waiting for someone to show up. As I said above I have a pretty decent sized Eldar army, last week ended up playing against space marines and tyranids. Love to see some people there.

I have a ton of Tyranids if you're looking for a game on Thursdays. I can typically come down and that's one of my days off.

Let me know.

I'm probably going to be over there Saturdays teaching my buddy how to play in case anyone wants a weekend game. Weekdays are a bit tougher for me.

Eldar of Ulthwe - 5000pts
Black Templars - 2000pts
Servants of the Sautekh - 1500pts
Icky Bugs - 500pts

Does CK run 40k events? Is there an event list somewhere?

I know they run a number of other tournaments regularly, so I'm sure if enough of us were to play there on a regular basis they would probably make one up. I do plan on continuing to show up on Thursdays after five. Figure if I'm always there we might eventually get a regular thing going. Saturdays would be great too, though that will be a little more hit or miss depending on if the wife wants to come out or not. I know I won't be there this weekend, but likely will be next weekend.

Maybe CKKris can help nudge them into doing a 40k tournament.

As the Event Coordinator, the only person that needs to be nudged into doing a 40k tournament is me, and I am very on-board for a 40k tournament.

What day were you guys thinking? I can set up something if enough people were interested.

I'm very interested. I'm unavailable the 29th-9th but other than that, any weekend day is good for me.

I'm part of a gaming group (Clan Boozehammer!) that would show in force to any weekend gaming tournament (3-6 guys)

I'd be good with any weekend games. Long as I know ahead of time I will be there.

Awesome! I'll get some info on 40k tournies, get ideas from our retail manager as to what kind of prize support I can get, etc. and let you guys know/post it on our event calendar.

It will be on a Saturday but it won't be the second Saturday. The miniatures tables tend to be reserved on those days for our Warmachine/Hordes Steamroller tournaments.

Great time off coming up and I would love to have a big game on Thursday or Friday of this coming week. I know it's the middle of the week for others, but I would be totally into an apocalypse level game at card kingdom either or both of those days. Being the first and second of September. I can probably manage around 10,000 points of Eldar forces and would love to take over the tables. Anyone interested I'm happy to take on multiple opponents! Yahoo!

Pardon any slow replies as I will be camping in the Olympic range for the next few days.

I live in Renton, but these warmachine nights sound interesting. Might be worth the drive.

Bump for still searching to play against someone apocalypse style Thursday, Friday, or possibly Monday?

Another option in the search for an apocalypse game. I will most likely spend tomorrow at the seattle battle bunker in Bellevue. I plan on bringing the whole shebang of an army, and if I can find someone to play a huuuuuge game cool. I would still be up for a big game at card kingdom Friday or Monday. Cheers.

No one will be there on Thursday. It's empty unless it's a weekend.

I REAAAAALLLY want to get an apoc game in, hell even some large regular games would be fun. Don't have any apoc units but have a lot of models to play with. I am located in Kent and card kingdom is a bit of a drive for me, especially in traffic. Respond or PM me if you guys want to try to get something setup.

A good way to do something like this is often at somebody's pad, and i can make a pretty decent sand table surface, just moved and downsized so i had to toss my table(it was a pretty decent desert/oasis style table). The only trick is getting enough terrain, which isnt that hard to do if you have everyone make one or two pieces.

So anyways, after that longwinded response, let's get something going, whether its at a store or wherever!

I would be totally up for that Dave-C. I could set up for a weekend or we could play evenings a couple couple hours at a time. I have over 10,000 points of Eldar but no specific Apocalypse units. Maybe one super heavy tank. I'd be up for either a weekend up here, or I could journey to Kent likely. I've been looking for an excuse to put them all on one battlefield.

Hit me up guys! I'm in Everett and willing to drive a bit for a game with some new faces.

Additionally, if you guys wanted to come out to AFK tavern in Everett for Clan Boozehammers! game night on wednesdays, feel free. It's a chill nerd bar, with a few wargaming tables and great beer/food.

We usually play a 4-6 player game with 1,000 points per person. Gets pretty massive!

That would be great cottonjaw. I'm excited to see your night lords as well. What would be a good date to be aiming for? If at someone's home we can aim for a full weekend game if it gets really huge. Although I feel like a 10,000 point game should be about a 10 hour game.

Well, after my car got broken into, and my Tau (4,000p fully painted) and Chaos Daemons (3000p 75% painted) got stolen (probably mistaken for guns or tools because of the hard cases), I don't really have THAT much painted yet. So my Night Lords aren't yet very impressive.. but.. SOON!!!!!

My Night Lords, however, are fully purchased, built and primed, so I am happy to play a game!

Unpainted models don't bother me that much, as long as the intent is there, now if i played someone again six months later and the entire army is still gray i would definately be saying something...

Yea, we need to do this, the trick is getting everyone on the same schedule.

I have about 3k in chaos marines, 3k in blood angels, 3k in orks, and about 2-2.5k in necrons.

edit: I am down for weekends or weekdays, but i have to go pick up my wife at around 6:30 so it would have to be during the day.

All right I'm going to throw out some dates and you guys tell me yay or nay. How about September 17th, October 1st or October 8th?

I know you got all your army Cottenjaw, what point value are you at? Are there any others in your group that want to come down? Or any lurkers that want to join us?
