Does it hurt the site's bandwidth if I constantly use Dakka Dakka's gallery as a 'host' for posts I'm doing in other forums?

Cool beans... I should have read the faq. An admin/mod on another forum sort of didn't like that I was reposting my blog information in a thread (I just wanted folks to see the stuff without having to click another link). They advised that it might not have been a good idea to do that since I'd be eating up bandwidth or something.

Classically it is seen as poor etiquette to do so; especially on smaller sites with more limited bandwidth.

We have a lot of memory and bandwidth, and are happy for folks to host pics here.

Cool beans. Regardless, I'm going to try to see if I can figure something out so I don't tax the gallery too much. I'd like to do whatever I can to keep this ship running.
