Yes if it was the villager spawner I deconned it after people kept leaving holes in it so villagers would escape and continue to multiply, im not sure if the building itself has been blown up yet but I heard that was the plan.

I just pictured 2 villagers breaking out, sneaking into the nearest house, filling it with babies, then running off to do it again all over the server.

ok, I shall. investigate as soon as possible, probably set up shop somewhere roughly 3000 blocks out, as I have on the vanilla server.

If you setup within 500 or so blocks of spawn I can run electricity to you, west is already wired and pretty barren

Sounds like an idea. Ill have my 'Lab' type thing there, and run an underground minecart track to wherever I end up living.

It just doesn't have the towers/blinkers/stone installed yet because I ran out of foam, unless you're talking about the wire itself

Yeah Iv been goign through alot of obsidian and nether brick building my tower.

Igneous extruder makes obsidian easy at least.

At least nether bricks can be smelted from Netherrack.

minium stone + 2 wood = obsidian.
my current consumption of nether brick is pretty crazy because infernal stone takes 2 nether bricks and 2 soul sand to make 1 infernal block.

Whenever I use the portal to spawn from the comm. Resource hub, I get stuck on the two-layer brick and have to log out and back in to get free. perhaps that portal needs moved up a block?

if you setup an ender chest I can keep it full of netherrack which you can turn into bricks and sand

Optifine has been working fine for me with a 32x texture pack. Is it just sphax bd craft it crashes with then?
I use John Smiths Technicians personally.

I found using the minium stone for obsidian was a bit laborious, would be alright if you had a tree farm or such though.

Unleashed loads so many mods that the Java PermGen flux capacitor thingy gets full to bursting. Adding Optifine and/or a hi-res texture pack ontop of that can push it over the edge.

Luckily there's a simple fix that doesn't involve reversing the polarity, just click the Options tab in the launcher and in the advanced java settings thing add:

Dark, during this evening's lag i was shot by a skeleton while working on my base. When i picked up all of my items my excavator was nowhere to be seen. i was up against my wall and i looked everywhere for it and it seems to have vanished.

would it be possible to have it replaced? i can let you know what i used to make it and what upgrades it had.

I've begun to build support struts for the wiring, but I might just use MFSU carts instead. I'll look into the Railcraft system.

CBA to do carts, they're kinda awkward. I've been plotting out a path for the wiring to follow with Concrete. Can the system please terminate at the my cave end with a MFSU? I'll throw down some distinctive block where I want it.

Probably, as long as it stays a straight line outside of load-range of your base it should maintain power, just be careful you dont overtax your mfsu

at the range you are at its going to output 512eu but can only recieve like 450ish from the system so just be aware that if the one that it terminates at falls to zero you're drawing too much, if this happens or some other people move in I can put in a substation where it curves up to your base
