The plastic wolf and boar are both gakky and in need of upgrade, good to hear that the boarboyz are rumoured to be in the new box.

The old elven steed was always crud. Even 'back then' we marvelled at how they looked like carnival carousel horses, especially if the rider has a spear or lance upwards like that picture.

I just hope they come out in a box separate to the starterkit (like the Spyder Ryderz did). We don't want another Deff Kopta situation where a unit is only available in a starterkit.

I think it's just one head option, and it isn't that bad. This thing is meant to be capable of swallowing people whole.

Yah, that REALLY sucked. Especially because the Deffkoptas in black reach look better then the metal ones.

Biovores, has anyone ever liked these scuplts like really?

Lucius the Eternal, they gave him a whip of licorice not to mention the face was poorly done

Drop pods, like really GW the doors will not keep shut no matter how great you build the damn thing

Which is usually why most people model them into their terrain as already being deployed

Don't forget good old Ragnar "I love Topknots" Blackmane and his terribly static pose.

The sculpt itself is great, but the Topknot should go and his utterly motionless pose is horribly bland.

I know its not the worst model ever but I hate the pose of the brood lord. He looks like he needs a hug.

But my vote is for the non Black Reach defcopter. I know ork equipment is suppose to look like trash put together but that's ridiculous. Plus its metal so it's harder to fix.

i just have to say that i love the mawloc sculpt, easily better than all of the other minis mentioned in this thread

He's another semi-contender. While he's well-sculpted, proportionate and in many ways perfectly serviceable, a couple of bad design choices very nearly kill him off. Firstly, the usual GW pitfall of splattering a perfectly good mini with a crapton of extraneous bling and a ludicrously huge spiky halo, and more importantly, out of all the poses they could have put the bugger in, why oh why oh why did they pick this one?

True, but just because it's a good sculpt doesn't make it a great miniature.

Thinking about it, I'd quite like to see the Nids heading more in this direction and developing more Freudian appendages.
