Try 'Futuretrack Five' by Robert Westall.

Or just about any scifi with AI-driven machinery, for that matter.

The lance (and the rifle, for that matter) look to be fixed to the handlebars of the bike ... leaving you free to just run straight into people.

Having a fixed lance on a motorcycle in a battlefield environment is beyond idiotic.

Just explaining why it didn't make as much sense as cavalry. I don't really care.

I LOVE the Cyber Anthropoids. Even with shipping to the states, these cost far less than the estimates for the eventual Wraith boxes.

Oh my.

Please release these ASAP. I will buy a good number from you.

I've been meaning to relaunch my Thousand Sons army, and these would make awesome squad markers. Plus, Scibor has a 4-pack of "eagle" heads, which are a reasonable substitute for Ra (Terminators).

Now if someone just made Fantasy versions...(I don't think Wargods of Aegyptus sells separate bits).

I will be SO bleak if this one doesnt make the final cut. I would get the set purely for this bastet helm. Its actaully perfect for what I need.

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.
Welcome to Fantasy 40k

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.

I hope they sell those bastet helms separately as well, they could come in handy for a project I have planned.

Thats kind of inappropriately harsh? Don't you think?

Good luck with them coming out in the next few months, we could be waiting as long as the Space Wolves and Tyranids did for reinforcements.

The way I look at it is I ordered 2 Sets. I'll have one old squad of 6, one Puppet Wars squad of 6(that can actually be WYSIWYGed), and I'll buy one full squad of the new GW models when they are released. Leaving me 3 squads for the future if I ever want to run them.

Panic always signs his\her threads.

So far as the Arthropods, I had second thoughts and didn't order them. After thinking it over, some parts on it are kinda ehh. For example, on the tail, presumably they used that split plastic spiral tubing you can use to organize wires, etc. As a result, the tail has a split line it in; I'm not really fond of that. I like the heads a lot but the arms (not the hands, the actual arms) are kind of ehh.

Those heads are noticeably less detailed than the pictures originally lead me to believe.

I'm also disappointed they're being sold in a big pack.

Yeah, I knew they would end up being sold in a big pack. I think I will wait for the maxmini ones to be released, these just look to large, details are pretty flat and far too varied in design.

Lascannon arms are great though! Details are great and the way the power packs are set back looks very cool.

Let's hope this is all only due to a blurry pic with too bright lighting.

Not true. Having been a motorcycle rider for 11 years I can safely say that motorcycles, given enough speed, can easily be steered merely by counterbalancing your body with no hands. I believe i've gone 3 miles on a straight road without hands.

Agreed.

Although the 'less detailed' Sobek and Set still look pretty nice, I'm turned off by only offering them in a six pack of varied heads.

If they were available in 4-packs of each head (5€), it would be an easy sale, even if "less detailed".

If that is really the quality of the casts... it is disappointing to be sure.
