@ Bruticus - Well we'll see what happens there then...

@ Llamahead - Thanx Yeah it's often the way eh, sometimes pure logic is the best way to go forward with a project...I think any of the above will require a big old "bitz" shop but some would be much easier and quicker to source and put together.

@ Baiyuan - No probs, B-man! One can't talk Necromunda on here without a nod to yourself!

@ inmygravenimage - Thank you...aw sorry to say but I def won't be doing nomads...I've got another project (although it's well back there on my "to do list") that's very sandpeople-esque so I don't wanna make anything similar for Necromunda, but yeah they're a cool alt gang for sure!

Thanks a million y'all for all the comments! I don't have the net at the mo (well only on my phone) so apologies for not replying to them individually. I'm sat in a cafe ATM but I have read them all and they've made me smile...

Anyways as clock is ticking I give you 2nd mini (2 down 2 to go?!):

Super Mutant, Horrible Gelatinous Blob... "Atlas" Jack!

Photos are again off my phone camera...pretty happy with him over all though he was a massive pain in the @ss to paint...I dunno why hes soooooo green in these shots as he's more yellowy in real light but hey-ho...2 down...2 to go?!

this is sick. i'm currently waiting on this model to do a conversion on it...loving the super mutant colour scheme.

Yo, yo! Hope all youz guys are well, just a quick mention (kindly just been informed by Bruticus) if you'd like to see some far better quality pictures of these Inq guys, then I'd strongly advise you to go and pick up this month's

Warhammer Visions (aka White Dwarf) as the Blanchitsu section has a feature on Inq Dante and his roughish bunch!

Well chuffed to be in there, huge thanks to of course the man Mr. John B and my good chum PDH! Also as well as Molotov and the other Inq 28mm bunch and naturally all you guys too for your input and comments 'n' shiz!

So yeah, go buy it!

@ queen_annes_revenge - Thanks a million! Always nice to see that even though this post is old and I don't update it as often as I should, cool people still find it and I hope your own project turn out to be badass!

@ Migs - Haha thanks man, I've hit another creative block with it all, I think if I just got on and modelled as much as I sit around thinking about it all/discussing it, I'd have a whole flat full of cool minis by now, at present I have a whole lot of nothing!

@ MonkeyBallistic - Thank you, yeah man steal away haha I'd be a liar if I claimed this stuff wasn't inspired by other people's work but I personally always try to give a little mention to the people who's original projects got me really excited and inspired me to have a go! I think that's one of the best bits about this hobby, discovering the mad gak other people make!

Cool thanks guys, 'till next time!

Do not adjust your auspex! THIS IS NOT THREAD NECROMANCY...I've actually made something new?! Haha

How do guys? Long time no speak...

I was asked to make something for a friend who wanted to get into Inq 28mm...I um-ed and ah-ed for a while but then he said he'd pay me some dollar bills yo $$$ and buy some of my older bits and pieces from the collection, so naturally I got straight to work!

He wanted a super-hench combat style Inquistor in power armor...(not something I would normally build for this game personally) We chatted about the character, his motivations and the weapons load out etc he had in mind and was keen to go for it! As I've never built anything with a true scale / art scale feel before I was up for making a big dude!

Few photos for reference here if people are interested (these are termies but liked the feel of them):
Spoiler:

I really liked this guy (Again I think that's terminator armor but cool!)
Spoiler:

So I give you the final guy...doesn't have a name as yet and is missing some =I= brass symbols which I'll pick up on Monday.

Power Armor Inquisitor with Inferno Pistol and Demon Weapon (hammer).

Really enjoyed this build and it's got me fired up to get back 'on it' so hopefully I'll have a few new bits to show off soon. Cheers for stopping by!

Well the Ghost Rises welcome back mate and glad that this might inspire your return looks good kind like an old Knight full of battle scars and relics.

Mind you in the first pic he looks a little like he is leaning not sure if it is just the photo angle or what but overall looks really good

Mostly, on my phone.

That's a lovely build. My favourite bit, oddly, maybe the mega 80s shoulders lovely detailing and a cohesive whole.

Aw ta very much guys!

@ LDD - How ya been buddy? Oh Yep he's def a grizzled vet type...yeah he does have a bit of a lean-on eh but that's meant to add some momentum to the pose, as if he's mid stride and has just turned to fire at an enemy, he's not fixed to that base so when the real one arrives I think I'll pull it back a little, don't want him going all wacko-jacko!

@ inmygravenimage - Haha thank you!

@SJM - Thank you, my progress has always been slow but I hope to show off some other bits soon, please feel free to have a browse through my gallery if you wanna see some other builds.

Good thanks Bud things good for you and glad to see you back at it your work really progressed through this thread and you created some really cool miniatures, you were missed when you went on your sabbatical

Ha the Jacko lean like that, to be honest I think it's the first pic that really emphasises the lean as the others it seems less noticeable.

Stocky little fellow. I like the beard, I think that sort of detail really makes a model look unique.

I have a bit of a pet hate of the plastic terminator legs as they seem quite plain compared to some of the alternatives, but I think if you can get some brass etch on there that will really up the detail levels. Everything else is looking pretty cool, the hammer looks interesting. Hammers are always the best choice.

Good to see you posting again!

Dakkanauts! If you go down to the sump today, you're sure of a BIG surprise...

It gives me incredible pleasure to announce 'The Underboys' - My hideous custom Scavvy gang (started over 6 years ago?!) is finally complete!

These guys were the first project I did when I returned to the hobby after a 15 year break (see the start of this blog!) and were inspired by people like Migsula and PDH.

At that time there was no chaos cultists, no genestealer cults or no new 'munda minis or bits to use (I added a few of those bits into the mix later on) and we all had to be very resourceful and adapt the older kits to make them work in that setting, but I think that pushed people to make some truely characterful and crazy stuff...

The Underboys

Talos, Ungelos, Papa Bile, Titan

Papa Bile

Talos, Titan

Ungelos - Beastmaster

Ungelos's 'Slimy' friends aka Milliasaurs

Shudders, Wretch

Kraken, Shudders

Gasbag, Gargoyle

Kraken

I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them, and I'm over the moon to have them finally finished and able to show off / cause terror in the depths of the Underhive once more!

For more stuff by me (Art & Minis) do check out my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ghostflame_visions/

I'll do my best to answer any questions you have either on here or over on there.

Cheers

@Monsterzonk - Thank you! I'm afraid I've tended to dip in and out a little bit over these past few years but trying to get back into minis and modelling again.

@KernelTerror - Thank you! I really owe it to MSW_Paintingforge, if it wasn't for him they'd still be in a box under my bed. There's a few little things I'm going to add to them but he's painted them to such a high standard would have taken me ages to achieve anything near this.
