Space marines are supposed to be like gods among men so it wouldn't surprise me that they used a cover from Thor.

Yeah, Marvel steals a lot of gak. They had Hairpiece Osborne prance around with a bolt pistol for several issues claiming it was an antidote gun or something.

That Thor book has been out for a while in this case though.

That pose is pretty common in art. Just saying. There's a statue of Hercules a lot like it and I'd argue that's where that particular pose originates, not Marvel.

Again. Just saying. There's a famous painting too. This is why I like Rick Rioden and the Percy Jackson series of books. This stays around

Is Hercules, umm, wearing a lion's paw on his crotch? If so that is probably the weirdest way I've seen genitalia censored.

Oh for sure, but when you combine that pose and that facial expression while climbing an inexplicable wall of enemies...

My question would be why a person's enemies would make a wall of themselves to be climbed on.

A guy about to swing his weapon? Seriously? Really?
You people really need to stop finding all those "stolen" images.

All they did was turn the image sideways a little. I'm sure the box artist saw the Thor cover. Not saying he didn't. Just say that it wasn't 'so original' when Marvel did it.

Hero leaping heroicly into throngs of numerically superior, but individually inferior enemies?!

That's not theft. It's a cliche, for sure, but it's not theft of any one persons work.

So your telling me that someone waist deep in enemies is the exact same thing as someone jumping into a couple of them?

Yes, because anyone who is influenced or inspired someone else's work is now a thief.

I dont think it was stolen me, being a comic book collector im pretty sure I have seen similar pictures tens of times. Ive seen a few pics that look almost the same but I cant find a good example on google images!

Ive definitely seen a Spiderman comic cover that was the same, how different can you make an image of a guy fighting 30 look?!

In fiction, there are plenty of stories that involve one man fighting a horde, and those pictures are going to look almost the same.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Books came first, btw.

Assassin's Creed was out in Nov. 2007, Shadow's Edge was out in Nov 2008.

So this would be the opposite.

Damn. I thought it was the other way.

Still, great reads, Shadow's Edge/Beyond the Shadows.
