I guess that means we can expect some classical javelineers throwing with thongs, some war elephants or elephant-men with mighty trunks, an accessory sprue with plenty of pouches, and a pirate kit with multiple wooden legs so that you can make many long johns silver.

Terms for underwear:
Boxers, slang for boxer shorts.
Commando, slang for wearing no underwear.
Thongs are underpants with no buttock covering.
Trunks, tight-legged underpants.
Pouches as in posing pouches (essentially the same as thongs).
Long Johns are long-legged thermal underpants.

I want to like them. Then I look at the pants. Are those garters? Or are they wearing long rubber fisherman boots? They look awful. Ruins the whole kit for me. I'd have to buy other legs, and the not pulse rifles are wayyyy too big and bulky. Since they are not doing Colonial Marines, why do the rifles look like the pulse rifles? I do like the heads and torsos.

I can safely say i do not know what you are talking about with the fisherman boots. The Ooh Rah 3d renders i have seen have firslty combat boots, then fatigue trousers over them and then knee pads. There is the thigh strap on the holster and the one on the other side. If this is what you have issue with a few small pouches will give the strap utility.

I agree with you OldMate. The thigh strap reminds me of the pro-mask carrier I wore when I served.

Actually... a series of what appear to be sock puppet accounts (yours) signed up suspiciously around the time that you popped on to say you didnt like them and they should be changed from Mobile infantry or Colonial marine inspired to something more to your liking. One of those accounts mentioned "Gaunts ghosts, Rico's roughnecks now Killian's knock offs". I (who like the set) commented that the naming convention should have it start with an "N" so suggested Nando's Knockoffs to fit that scheme. No one on those boards are actually calling them knock offs but you... and when i stated that I like them you outright stated that i have a "weird fetish".

I don't need not-Tyranids, but for kit-bashing I'm a whole lot more interested in non-human plastic aliens than more variations on soldiers holding guns.
Blackfang makes a good point though; I've already got plenty of Tyrannid bits, so WGA's will have to be different enough to merit purchasing.

The target audience will be those gamers who do not want or need GW knockoffs, and those who cannot or will not pay GW's exorbitant prices. Will wait and see how varied a kit this will be, as I mentioned earlier in the thread that I wanted ant-like aliens. Maybe these will suit.

the Friday poll on Wargames Atlantic Legion asked how we liked our aliens
crab-y, lobster-y, spider-y, ant-y, Xenomorph-y, mantis-y, slug-y or other-y
(current leader are Xenomorph, crab and mantis)
so they may be trialing a variety of options (or perhaps multiple races?) Automatically Appended Next Post: (Go Mantis!)

Wargames Atlantic Pricing Announcement 2022
Hello Everyone,
My name is Karl Oliver-Kyriacou, and I am the Director of Sales at Wargames Atlantic.
As I’m sure everyone reading this is aware, the last 3 years have been particularly difficult for all markets and all companies.
With Covid 19 effecting every facet of life, to major trade relationships being amended overnight (Brexit), and a global cost of living crisis looming, precipitated largely by increased fuel costs globally.
It should come then as no surprise that almost every company in our little ecosystem has regrettably had a price increase in the last 12 months, and some have had to enact multiple.
Now if you keep up to date with us on our forum or social media, you will know we pride ourselves on our honesty, transparency and our commitment to you, our customers, who keep our plastic injection moulding machines working, and the lights on.
Wargames Atlantic is in a very fortunate position to not only own it’s own manufacturing process for our wonderfully detailed 28mm kits, but we also have a very RRP bust logistics hub which helps us service our customers wherever they are in the world.
Our warehouses in the UK, US and Australia allow us to move bulk product efficiently to a source market meaning that the cost of shipping product to you is as cheap and efficient as it can be.
Secondly, we are equally fortunate that we insisted on owning our plastic injection moulding process and machinery. This means that we do not have to negotiate with any middlemen, and ultimately we make the decisions on how much we should charge for our products or services.
Now, there is some unfortunate news that is regrettably out of our hands.
Globally the price of fuel has skyrocketed, which in this business means there has been an increase to the cost of raw materials (namely the plastic - which is up over 60% per pound!) Because of this, the production cost of a typical box has now increased by roughly $0.12.
After much consulting internally at Wargames Atlantic, we just didn’t feel right in passing this additional cost on to you, the valued consumer. So with that decision made, I am pleased to say that our ranges will remain the price you know and love for the foreseeable future.
Have a fantastic summer.
Kind regards
Karl Oliver-Kyriacou
I think given the good news we can forgive the incorrect use of "it's".
This time.
